It's always really inspirational when all the artists that I love to watch show their old artworks! It really does help illustrate (pun intended) that art is a journey through of ups and downs, good days and bad days, and that you just need to keep trying and you will get to something that feels like you very soon!

About the Plagg thing, just don't worry about that. A lot of drawings do the thing where the kwami is out even though their holder is already transformed. Also, this isn't something you have to do if you don't want to, but I would really like if you drew yourself as your own Miraculous hero. I think it would be cute.

I love how she shows us how she used to be so we can learn for ourselves more about how she improved and how we can apply that to any of our work too. She also doesn’t change her old style a lot when she fixes them. I can’t wait to see when she improves even more. We all have to work ourselves up step by step with improvement to catch our dreams. I really admire people like you who strive for consistency because i just cannot relate. I have a hard time being consistent because I envision each of my illustrations differently. I legit end up with drawings that only have the character face stylisation in common. 😅😅😆

I see that you were into Miraculous at one point. I was too, but the only thing I like about the show is the intro song lol. I like the melody, I mean, it’s awesome and shouldn’t be for something as low as a kid’s show (even though some kid’s shows are good). The roasts were pretty funny too.

2:35 i have a lot of problems drawing hair, espacially short hair for my boys.. yours look so nice^^ 12:34 was guessing you would talk about the foreshortening there, but i instantly notices the really stiff hair that kinda breaks the piece, no matter how good the rest looks. really nice to see where you started! people who always look at the "great stuff" everybody does but cannot see how they got there, this really helps in so much ways, thanks^^

One thing I noticed in your old arts is that most of them don’t have a consistent art style, like I can sort of tell you made hatsune miku but it looks like someone took inspired from your art itself. Especially the oceans one, I completely thought that was someone else’s art 😭 but I loved that one vocaloid you drew!! The general idea and just everything about it is so cute I wouldn’t even notice a fault in it. Though I would have mistaken the thin arms for bright light casting over a larger arm.
