Fun Fact : that *OpenBook* logo, *also* looks like a person is happy in the pose of Jumping. Like a person jumping in the mid-air. Sort of Hurdle-race jump. 😀

Hey Will apologies for the simple question ha! But when designing logos, whats go to preset file size you use in Illustrator? 1000 x 1000px or whatever? Nice one

Can somebody tell me what the style at 1:27 is called and how to achieve that? I guess its an Illustrator thing?

Its strokes. With the fill opecity very low (u can duplicate, send to back, low opacity). The grids, u can put them manually there and just lower the opacity or color and maybe put dashes in strokes. Or maybe its just a mockup idk about that

@@Liphzzy There are very little automatic things in professional software since the ability to manipulate the minutia and details is their main focus. Automatic stuff are more common on Cellphone apps since these are for regular people to achieve certain level of photo or video editing in simple taps.

Don’t get caught up in the Academia aspect of design. Him like other artist are self taught. You’re not going to need a whole set of electives to accomplish your goal. Enroll as a nondegree student and take whatever things you need to polish your skills, but most of the heavy lifting is gonna come from within, as the other users suggested in their response.

@@nustapeter It was a joke but the fact that they haven't been on the show yet , may indicate that the designs are not in any of the two ends. Usually he puts on his videos the really good ones or the ones that he considers are bad examples. So the average ones in the middle, are usually ignored. Cheers.
