Critmerra, a New WAY to IKE

Been using similar builds for her and yeah, they’re really nice. One recommendation I might toss out is that the Marth engraving is a good alternative to the Lyn one here. You get a smaller crit and hit boost and no weight drop, but you still get a helpful amount while scoring +4 extra might, which means +12 damage every crit. You also are handed a Killer Lance from Amber before Marth leaves so hey, no forging needed. It also frees up the Lyn engraving for a killer axe or the well axe which don’t mind the might drop as much and greatly appreciate the extra hit, and turns an axe unit into a second great carry.

Timerra is a big carry pretty much every mad run i get into... I think i'm not the target of this video. good build indeed =) One of the most versatile/useful physical unit of the game for sure !

Timerra gets my crown for the most consistent clutch character. Ofc skill rolling/proccing is not something to rely on over stat spread, but she literally was made with a “fire emblem” game in mind. Sandstorm is good as a concept since the better your defensive capabilites the more likely you oneshot! Its just fun to invest into and explore! Luna seems to be a freebie skill that scales better the harder the game gets, but Sandstorm scales better the more adept the player becomes.

To be honest I really struggled to make timerra useful when I last played obviously I haven't played as much as you guys so you are much better at getting her to her ponetional like this vid and other vids. I think she just really struggles for me because she really takes effort to get going (at least getting to picket lv 5) and I kind of tend to favor the units I already have because I had to invest so much already. She is great as unit and as a tank but when I use her like that she doesn't really get a lot exp so I need to like put more conscious effort in giving her xp and useful things so she can actually pop off I guess. I also think adding speed / lance power is something I didn't do a lot when I last played which could really help with doubling / quading with brave lance and help get her off the ground a lot faster

What about leifmerra you can ememy phase better because you gave leifs engage skill and use gen gen and lance power ore speed + idk it would be probably really bad since leif is not the best and you get him a start of late game so years a goofy build which will not work but yea

I am really, REALLY not fond of the idea of putting 2 crit engravings on a single unit. That seems like it would kind of lock you into juggernauting through the EP, which just isn't a fun way to play through the game imho. But I like the build idea though.

You can just run the Javelin or the Killer Lance, or not use crit engraving on the Javelin

If you are playing around crits, then use someone better for that. Timerra you need to set her up to use Sandstorm well, otherwise it will be better to use someone else for a crit build because you can make other units crit harder and/or crit more reliably. Timerra's best case scenario is quad with a brave lance, offer her high dex and something to be tankier. Weapon power voids any argument you have for your character. Also, if you inherit Brute Force for snipers, you can make them actually really good. Best bet for snipers be Boucheron, Kagetsu, and Jean (95% dex since he doubles Sniper's dex growth; have to second seal him into archer at level 1) since more dex = more crits, Claude's ring for the +1 range which also always ensures the +10 crit passive of Sniper. Yunaka can work, but she is an insane amount of investment and over leveling on her to make it work out, and Engage barely has avoid tiles for her. (Anna no go, Brute Force only works for physical damage, Sniper has a lower magic cap than Bow Knight as well.)

Enemy phasing 5-10 enemies and killing most/all of them is pretty trash tbh. There are stronger things, like Etie Warrior.
