Great video, as always. I used to be so impressed by riders and horses who could do all sorts of difficult exercises and movements. However, I started clicker training a year ago and it was a revelation for me. I realized that I don't care about technique and striving for perfection anymore. I want a deep connection with my horses. I want constant two-sided communication. I want to have fun.

So well expressed and important message to keep in mind, thank you Kelly and Happy New Year 2021😊. My horse can be helpful and so funny at times, the other day he was pushing against the gate to prevent it from closing on us as I was taking my time to put his head collar on to take him out of the field. The gate kept closing down on his nose and he would push back without any apology😂.

In answer to the question: I liked the tip in one of the video's to just take a relax moment of something like 5-10 minutes after arriving at the stable. I just glance at the horses, hug them, pet them and try to just look at the beautiful creatures they are. And then I walk back to start the routine of preparing and getting them out of their meadow.

I guess I am enjoying it as it comes, but in the back of mind I am thinking am I picking it up too slow and that I will posting the trot forever? But I am really enjoying the ride so I don't mind so much.

I feel like lately I’ve lost my rhythm when I ride. A few weeks ago I could post trot so lovely, it felt like I was gliding... and I could ride the canter so smooth and really just flow nicely with the horse. But recently, my legs are going behind me, my balance feels off and worst off all... I hold the horn of the saddle when I canter! I just feel all over the place. My trainer told me to hold off on cantering for awhile, since I was holding the horn, but I want to know how to *FIX* it, not stop doing it altogether. Do you have any suggestions for me? 🙂

Okay... So you have a goal, but how do you not get frustrated when the horse that shows up today is the same horse that showed up two weeks ago? In other words, he left the last two weeks of training in the stall and you are seemingly back at square one? How do you enjoy that? I love my horse, but sometimes he's not the brightest. 💜🌞🌵😷
