What are the risks of using open ended crm system? I want to build a “system” which would allow me to get my business up and running. The system would be for my own use not to distribute or sell. I will be working by myself for the beginning. The reason why I do not want to sign up to platforms is because of finance and budget. I will start this as a freelancer and to follow up leads/sales/marketing/revenue/invoicing/bookkeeping all in one place. I really would go ahead on excel but again with low knowledge of VBA, Macros and pivot tables, I will mess things up. Time is also limited with three children. I could not find work so the best way is to start my own business. Please show support of your knowledge and guide me.

This open source software has been tried and tested over the years, it's a solid solution. The only risks are that you need to take care of your hosting and backups yourself, which don't require much effort if you use Hostinger as they provide automated backup already👍

@@Mr_Web hi thank you for reaching back out. I do appreciate it. How about an open ended software that is downloadable, is there any available? As I do not have a website at the moment or the extra funds, I cannot start a website. I would be relying on freelance websites with my services or prospecting my clients via web scraping extension tool that I added for free. So rather than a platform on the internet I need a software/app. Does any exist? I can do my own ab test settings manually by myself by figuring out how many leads will receive what type of email etc. So this does not need to be integrated. I would be grateful for any recommendations.

@@RS-jz4pg Hostinger is only $2.99/m, barely the price of a cup of coffee nowadays. Otherwise you can install everything on your own computer on XAMPP localhost and have you computer work as a server. That's all I can think of tbh

I have started to use vtiger. they have a pilot package free for life time it says. still in the testing phase and seeing how user friendly it is. so far having set up sequences etc some of the features do not work or i think i am getting it wrong like email opt out options etc. i have been working on it today 9am - 18:30 with breaks in between testing many things as i can. but i will also check out the xammp too
