the turning of his planting foot is his first tell of the kick. instead of twisting, he falls backward, allowing his kicking foot to leave the ground in the same motion. it's a very quick release, but while his back foot is twisted he has no balance. he is floating on a rotation, anchored by his foot, making him easy to push over (if you can catch him in time).

Mark admitted he hated training. He wasn't as committed as many other fighters. He said he wouldn't eat clean most times and he would duck training and play games he only did it because he loved fighting and the money. As I said, it's harder than it looks. It was obvious Hunt was trying to close the gap, but as we saw, he got tied up and/or punished doing so. When you go into a fight with a game plan against a guy like Mirko, it tends to get "flawed". Cro Cop ain't no walk in the park, he's 230 lbs/6'1" of pure skill, endurance, and power.
