you guys need to try halkidiki this summer its in greece and it has one of the most beautiful beaches in greece like myrsini and kavourotripes beach the prices are very low here but you will need a car.There are some really beautiful small villages like afytos and sani but people mostly visit halkidiki for the beaches the food and the resorts.

It's not about the original belonging to Venice... It's about the domiciled population of Croatia that concluded contracts with Venice for the purpose of defense against the Turks. Before the Venetian period, Dalmatia and the Balkans had their own states, as they still are today.

Guys, I think you messed up with this one. One day only in Hvar and you catch a ferry to one of the wee islands? You missed Hvar, really. And the nightlife is a big part of it, and no, you dont have to be a party animal. Its just crowded bars and restaurants and the al fresco mediterranean vibe with crowded streets. I am sure you would have enjoyed it, as well as exploring Hvar itself and all it has to offer.
