Love Greece from the Netherlands. But also I value Portugal and Croatia a lot. all 3 at the very least great. But my love for Greece is strong. Why? While all 3 countries are sub top in first world income, they each have wonderful climate. however. What makes Greece truly wonderful is that it's a country is truly stupendous beauty in immense diversity, vastly outstripping the size of it's nation easily matching nations much much bigger. It's 80% mountains snowcapped, 16.000km of the most crystal clear coastlines. In Essence Greece is mountains surrounded by the sea. And because Greece lies on 4 tectonic earthplates coming together in Greece (The African, Asian, European and the 4th one crushed in between) Greece's geography and topography is just incredibly diverse. Greece's nature and landscapes are on a whole other level. It has 400 wetlands, 15.000 caves, some of the most untouched and cleanest rivers in Europe. some of the most natural hotspring rich nations on earth with 800 natural hotsprings. then around a incredibly diverse mainland there are 6000 islands, each unique spanning from Volcanic islands (Santorini, Nissyros), to some of the largest pumice islands on earth like Gyali, to Blue grotto islands like Kastelorizo, to Medieval islands like Rhodes, to virgin forested islands like Skopelos, Thassos etc, to Geological paradises like Milos, to islands with desert like Lemnos, to islands like Crete called the Small continent because Crete has everything a continent has. To the only natural palm forests etc. to even random things like the longest gorge in Europe called Samaria gorge in Crete, or 1 of 3 deepest gorges on Earth called Vikos gorge. And these are just a sample of so many incredible diversities in Greece. If Greece has desert, natual palmforests, 80% snowcapped mountains, geological paradises, to religious paradises like Athos, Tinos or Meteora which each are also in the religious world truly special. Athos for example is the only monastic state on earth. But anyway. Many more things can be said, culturally, architecturally, but also like archaeological sites, history and so on. But I just wanted to make an ode just as an example just to a small overview of how incredible Greece is. Visit Greece in spring and go around it's nation, mainland and a random 1,2,3 islands. You will be amazed by the ever changing landscapes. Even on a daily basis you will experience different worlds on a single day. Even within an hour landscapes can change so much

Greece in essence is 80% mountains, surrounded by the bluest of seas and a incredibly complex geography and topography. Imagine a nation that in winter has 80% snowcapped mountains everywhere, but then endless nature and geographical and landscapes diversities all the way to the only natural palm forests in Europe, geological paradises like Milos, Meteora etc, desert like on Limnos, virgin forests or forested islands like Rhodope, Skopelos, etc. To volcano's and largest sea caldera on earth like Santorini, Nissyros etc. To hundreds of natural hotsprings, wetlands, etc, some of the cleanest rivers in Europe like Voidomatis, to the most untouched river of Europe like Aoos river. To the longest gorge in Europe like Samaria, all tge way to 1 of the 3 deepest gorges on Earth like Vikos. To Blue grotto islands like Kastelorizo all the way to Caretta caretta islands like Zakynthos. And endless varieties in between. Greeces mainland is extremely diverse and its 6000 surrounding islands are extremely diverse too. 2). Also. As that isnt enough, Greeces 6000 islands are infinitely more diverse than Croatias. First of all. Croatia's 1000 islands lies on 30.000km2 of sea and highly similar. And 85% of all Croatias islands are max 80-150 high elevation. With only 10% to 300m height and only a very small percentage to 800m. While Greece's 6000 islands lies on 4 tectonic earthplates coming together in Greece. The African plate, the Asian plate, the European plate and the 4th plate crushed in between. This is why Greece's islands are geographically immensely diverse and can be anything from volcanos. Geological islands, virgin forested islands, desert, rugged and wild. To even islands like Crete being called the small continent as Crete has everything a continent has with 5 mountain chains rising to 2500 meters straight out of the sea. While the mainland is also dotted with mountains rising straight out of the sea 3000 meters like Mount Olympus. Greece has 20% of all of Europe's Ultra Peak mountains. For reference. Switzerland has 8 Ultra peak mountains. Croatia 0, Austria 12, Spain 4 on the mainland, Greece 19 Ultra peak mountains. Ultra peak mountains are mountains that rise atleast 1500 meters above its lowest surrounding point. Since in Greece everything starts truly from the sea, all mountains are truly the real visible height. For example. You can be in Central Asia and see on a map a mountain that is 3500 meters. But the lowest point in a long flat plain you stand on till the eye can see is 2100 meters. So the real mountain height is not 3500 meters, but 3500-2100= 1400 meters. And that is tge real prominence of a mountain. And so. That mountain would not classify as a Ultra peak mountain as the Ultra Peak mountain definition starts from 1500m and up. This is why Greece is a mountain paradise. and also why Greece has so many untouched paradise rivers. And therefor, because of Greece's wild geography, 400 wetlands(a huge number), because the untouched rivers flow naturally into the sea. 3). Back to Croatias 1000islands spanning 30.000km2 of which 85% is 80-150m high, many similar to another. Greeces islands span 550.000km2 sea space and as mentioned on 4 tectonic earthplates. This is why Greece and its 6000 islands have truly spectacular nature and a stupendous diversity. So. Croatia is great. It is. But Greece is on a completely different league in its incredible natural beauties. Anyone who has visited Greece truly in a more diverse way and went out in the mountains, landscapes, hikes, raftings, and what not, will be enchanted by this incredible land

It seems you never been to Croatia and Portugal. Portugal is even known by its diversity of climates (wich goes from subtropical to arid) and landscapes

But Greece is on a completely different level when we talk about landscapes. And if you where next to me I would educate you 10 hours in real life with showing you from Google Earth, Geography, Topography, up to the last little details. Even someone like you with lack of in-tel-lect can just spend 10 minutes per country on Google Earth and fly over these 3 nations extendively and look at how complex these nations are. Hint. If you fly over Portugal, it's landscapes are FAR more dull, with hardly any mountain terrain, with a far more dull coastline and landscapes than Greece. Greece is a nation with 80% mountains and extremely diverse landscapes and seascapes. It's geography is so wild and diverse, that its an endless variety of beauty. Don't stay with lack of in-tel-lect. Because I know exactly what I speak of. I have compared these nations 1000x times already in 1001 ways. If you start doing it your pre-believed thoughts will entirely fall apart
