For some reason this part of the game - 1:35:48 - was printed in the back of my brain for who knows maybe two decades. I think since back when I was a kid I found this glider part to be so soothing, both the gameplay and the music. Those were simpler, better times.

My god! i was so happy playing this crap... i was happy and i didn´t notice it... how simple everything was... adulthood sucks!!!! I still enjoy the music of this game until today, those melodies marked my childhood :,( This game reminds me of my dad, who died 3 years ago... he gifted this game to me when i was a just a kid and inspired me to learn english. I just lost my mom 3 weeks ago tomorrow. I remember playing this game on the computer. Sometimes me and my sister would both play together. My mom would always come down and ask us if we wanted lunch (on summer break or days we played hooky). I’m 27 now. My sister is 31. I never knew how happy I was when I was doing something as stupid as playing this game. The sounds are nostalgic. The old windows 95 computer running. The old AC running in the background on a hot summer day. Or playing during the winter and hearing the furnace run in the background. “I wish someone told us we were in the good ole days before they were over”. Such a stupid quote from the office, but it plays in my head almost every day. I wish I could rewind the clock. Hell, I’d even rewind it a month or two back at this point. My whole life I’ve felt like I’ve just been chasing the happiness I naturally had as a child. It’s like we’re stuck in this shit show now and all we are doing is living through our memories. Wishing we could wake up and be 6,8,10 years old again. At least that’s my life.

This has unlocked a childhood memory for me that makes me a sort of happy that I have not felt since pre-puberty. I had tears streaming down my face watching this. Happy tears. Until I found this video, I only had a very vague recollection of this game to the point where I wasn't even sure if my brain hadn't just slapped a bunch of bits and pieces together from various games and labeled it Croc. I genuinely wasn't even sure it existed - at least, not the way I remembered it. However, when watching this, I could remember every little detail. I knew all the levels like the back of my hand, and what was going to happen next. The soundtrack, even the dialogue. I do not have very clear memories from my childhood so to remember all of this is incredible. I *was* THIS happy once, and somehow, knowing that gives me hope. I know this seems very melodramatic, but seeing this and experiencing those memories has been a game changer for me. Thank you so much for sharing this ♥

I'm 28 going on 29 in a few weeks, and this was one of many childhood video games I'd play. So many memories! I owned this on my Windows 2000 at that time it came out though and the screen icons as well as the quality were a bit different, or better quality obviously apart from how it looks on PlayStation. I've never even played the first game.

Thanks for the walk through man. This games way harder if you've only ever played the first game before. There's a huge learning curve in that while the controls are less floaty, they removed the ability to control the camera independently of croc himself. Kinda reminds me of the difference between Halo 1 and Halo 2 in a way. I'm not knocking the game, it's just not what I'm used to having only ever played croc 1 as a kid.

@@erraticjoe499 Yeah. I since played Croc 2 and it is very different from Croc 1. It had better level design and was a lot more forgiving. Plus my copy kept glitching out on the final cutscene.
