Great video!! Upload more similar videos for other Samgung models as well. I changed and replaced my battery of S Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and it's working, but there is an additonal conection in the last of those three battery cable conectors which is not described in your video. I think it's only present in the SG Note 20 ultra 5G (SAM N986U). Over all it's a great video.!!!

Did your battery health change from weak? How long does it last after the change?

​@@SRKHD A new battery is always stronger. Sometimes it's also a good option to do a backup and erase/factory reset the phone after the battery change for best results.

Mine has three connector cables upon the battery where the third one is on the left is connecting to two spots of the motherboard!

Thanks. No, it won't be waterproof anymore. To be waterproof you would need a special adhesive kit.

You just replace the battery, that's it.

@@craigdl The system automatically does it. I suggest always use genuine Samsung battery. Don't buy fake batterys with larger capacity. It's not worth and it's fake.

You are welcome. Until 100%. Try that it never drops under 15% and don't charge overnight. And you will be ok.

Do you noticd an improvement in battery life when the new battery is in?

Of course the battery life is better with the new battery. But I would also suggest to do this steps after a battery replacement: update the phone to the latest software, do a backup of your important files and factory reset it.

@@Cascxa Oh that. No worries, it just turned on again, when you hold it that way and try to open it. Anyway, you are going to disconnect the battery first when you start repairing, so it's no problem.

Use a low tack tape on cables like non-gel painter's tape to avoid them pulling on plastics and ribbon cables too much.

Excellent advice. I used a small bit of paper stuck to the backside of the tape to prevent it from sticking to the cables. Only the ends were exposed so that only the ends were adhesive where they contacted the front glass. Your advice is even better. Thanks.

Can we put S21 plus battery into note 20 Ultra? Is it compatible? The main idea is to get more capacity (4500mA to 4800mA), or if we can put S21 ultra battery.. it is higher (5000mA). Please dont answer better to put the original dedicated to note 20 ultra battery. Hehe

Try to full update the Android System, then do a factory reset. Don't forget to do a backup first

Quick question for all: How can we assure that the new battery we are installing is actually new and NOT an unused 4 yr old battery being called new. And…if it is a 3-4 yr old battery, how will it perform? Similarly, there are some new note 20 phones I’m looking at…but a 3-4 ur old battery …wouldn’t that need to be changed?

You can ask the seller which manufactured date it is. When it was produced. If it's a new battery amd was stored properly, 1-2 years is not a problem.
