I decided to attempt to make a hexagon cardigan and I bought the Mandela color grout it’s beautiful. I thought the yarn was too thin to make it so I bought a thicker yarn. I thought I’ll use it later when I get more comfortable making the first one. Then I turn on u-tube and you are using it. I’m so excited to watch your video thanks for sharing. I would be interested in a written pattern with more info on size changes and a gauge because I know I am a loose crocheter. Also, I prefer worsted weight yarns instead of a DK. But I absolutely love this pattern! I'm going to have to try it!

I love this pattern! I’m looking for ideas as I start my first hexagon cardigan in super bulky yarn. I LOVE this “block stitch” two round pattern, but I don’t think it will work with my huge yarn (15 mm hook). However, I am already planning my second cardigan with dk yarn (hmmmm maybe with a self patterning yarn for the dc rounds and a solid for the sc rounds)

hi Daxafer. 15mm - that’s pretty big lol. I originally made this cardi in pink and blue, but it never made it onto my channel. the yarn was a little too heavy. so many choices…🥰🥰🥰

Update: the traditional “granny square” had too many holes for my taste, so I dove in using this stitch pattern. Light pink for the sc rounds, Two rounds of dark grey and burgundy alternating for the dc rounds. My hexagons are big enough (and I’ve used 1200 g of yarn) after eight dc rounds. Now I’m rationing the rest of each color to tweak the width and length.

Hello.. I am currently working on your hexagon cardigan with the shawl collar. The one you did in the Nifglers colorway. I am using the Spirit colorway. I have a question about decreasing the Sleeves. My arm is 20” from my shoulder to my wrist. I did 15 rounds to start my hexagon. I have added 8 rounds to my sleeve for length and it is already almost to my wrist. When I do the cuffs they will be too long. Should I decrease on each round of my sleeves or every other round? Also , is there somewhere to share a photo of our completed work to you? Thank you again for these amazing patterns and videos.

Hello Robin. You can make the sleeves longer and fold them over, or undo a couple of rounds and start the front post/back post pattern. Whatever you like best 🥰🥰🥰
