Great tutorial. I like how you showed your finger holding the yarn for the loops in place so that doesn't pull tight. Hubby is going to take away my phone if I keep adding things to my craft list. Lol I think these squares will be worth it Thanks so much

Thank you so much! I am so glad that you like it❤️ I’ll suggest practicing it first with a bigger size hook and which is long enough to hold the yarn loops and also try working with just one loop initially rather 3 loops. Let me know if you need any help or have any confusion or question😊

Beautiful pattern, but it should come with a warning that ergonomic hooks can't be used. I can only use them due to my arthritis. So, maybe this can be made in a modified version that uses an ergonomic hook?

Could I use a light macrame yarn so it could be used as a trivet? Or what yarn would be good for that?
@Mushyy_1 Жыл бұрын
Hi there, you can definitely use light macrame yarn but it might get a little difficult to pull through the bunch of loops (in case you are a beginner) I would suggest using a medium weight/worsted weight acrylic yarn for best tesults

Can I use a magic ring instead of a chained circle
@Mushyy_1 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Magic ring and a chained circle is just the same thing. It’s just that I feel comfortable working with chained Circle but you can always work with whatever you are comfortable with either magic ring or a chained circle😊

I am having so much trouble pulling through all the loops when making the leaf! Does anyone have any advice?? 😭😭
@Mushyy_1 Жыл бұрын
I can completely understand that. I would suggest using a bigger hook size ( for example 5.5 mm) and practise with just one loop in every space instead of three loops. I hope this helps
@MyLadyKaylaChantal Жыл бұрын
Try hooking your yarn and then turn your hook so the hook itself is turned down pulling through one stitch at a time. It'll get easier with practice.

Hook size? Yarn type?
@Mushyy_1 Жыл бұрын
Hook size can vary as per the yarn. You can use the hook size suggested on the yarn (label) youare using. In this video I used a medium weight yarn and a 3.75 mm crochet hook (becauseit’s my fav) but I will suggest using a much bigger hook size(5.5mm 6m, 6.5mm etc) and which is long enough to hold the loops😊
@rosaperro1238 Жыл бұрын
How many rows/rounds is this and/or how big because I am trying out many different granny square patterns and thought if I make enough I could make a crazy blanket or whatever with all different kinds of squares but they'd need to be same size so just curious
