I noticed that all your loops for the beginning chain are even numbers. Does it have to be an even number? I'm using light weight yarn 3 with a G hook. My beginning chain has 23 loops to reach 33 centimeters. Thank you

So... 23 loops doesn't work , you should pick 22 loops it's not a big deal if it's a little shorter

So, for those of us who have an Odd number in starting chain could you please explain where we put the stitch markers. I don't think this pattern is going to work with unless there are only even numbers. There is not a chart to show where the stitch markers would go on an odd number beginning chain. I really like this pattern, it's unfortunate that I can not understand the directions for odd numbers. Any advice would be welcomed

It doesn't have to be odd numbers , but theese numbers that I have on the chart work because we need to keep the proportions on the cardigan.

@@simonacrochet4149 thank you. I finished the yoke using only measurements not counted stitched and it turned out fine. Thank you again. I look forward to completing it. I make baby blankets and hats then donate them to local hospitals or shelters to help the less fortunate. I'm sure they will love to have several of these little cardigans to give away.
