Right 3 times ive tried this, on the 2nd row im always a stitch short in the last bit , yoy say crichet 9 , do buttin hole n should have 3 left but i only have 2 every time x

Make sure that you're crocheting into the top of the chains that you skipped right at the beginning of row 1. It's easy to miss so that's why it's recommended for you to use stitch markers throughout the pattern 💞
