I am sooooo stinkin' excited!! I've never made any wearable other than the hat, scarf, mitten things.. You are my FAVORITE!!!!!!! You are so clear and natural. I am so encouraged to make the long one.. I've been wanting one for so long.... (get it..long). I work at Hobby Lobby and refer people to you ALL the time. (when I'm in fabric/needle art), people are always asking me for patterns and books(that we no longer have).. I give them your info. You are fantastic!!

I absolutely love this shape cardigan it’s my favourite look for a cardigan. You’re so trendy with crochet designs and make it updated so it doesn’t look “old fashioned” which so many people think of when one mentions crochet clothes, but that’s so far from the truth nowadays. It’s not all hippie looks or granny square cardigans lol 🤭 I can’t wait to make this. It’s perfect. 🧶👍🏼 I know you’re super busy but hopefully sometime in the future, I would love to see a lightweight solid stitch version of this shape cardigan to about hip length to wear with jeans etc for when its a cooler summer night. I’m off to see if I’ve enough of a similar yarn to start this. Thank you for all your hard work 😊

I just completed this sweater!! It is seriously such a good pattern. I RARELY complete a pattern as written. I always end up tweaking it and making tons of changes to make me like it. But this is so well designed. I think the only thing I did differently was I used smaller hook sizes and made a size larger than needed so it worked better with the yarn I wanted to use. It came out exactly as I wanted it! I will definitely be using more of your patterns! You are a true crochet artist ❤❤❤

I'm making this sweater for my granddaughter who will be 22 in May. She loves to wear crop tops and I thought this sweater would look great on her. I love this pattern and have used Bernat Softee Baby Cotton in the color Cotton. I couldn't find pure white yarn like you used. I am making the cuffs right now. I bought the buttons at Hobby Lobby and will be ready to start the ribbing of the front soon. I really like all of your patterns and plan to make the waffle cardigan next. You have amazing designs. And your nails are gorgeous. One suggestion and I know it is hard to change your style of crocheting. You are moving your left hand too much so it is hard to see what you are doing. If you were to hold your left hand and work more steadily, and only move your right hand, it would be easier to follow what your are doing. You do beautiful work.

I love this pattern although I’m having trouble with the banding (ribbing) on the opening. It seems to be pulling too tight. I’ve frogged a few times. It’s where I join ribbing to the body , after the 10th sc of the rib you skip a stitch the slip stitch in next 2 stitches then go back into the rib. After doing a number of rows it pulls as if on the cuffs for a sleeve. Any help would be appreciated.

I've added hoods to children's cardigans all you have to do is decide how big you want the hood, find the centre back then count the same amount of stitches on both sides of centre put in stitches markers. SC along the stitches between the markers and keep crocheting until it fits your head. Then out the 2 sides together and stitch long the top. Hope this helps.
