Did you make the granny square sleeping mat for the homeless? I am wondering if it worked and if the joints were comfortable when laying on them.

No, I never finished because the project got left behind when I lost my house in a hurricane. My plan had been to use a seamless join, which would have kept the seams flat and added a bit of width between the squares. You can see an example of that method here: crochetistheway.blogspot.com/2016/06/join-crochet-motifs-with-one-seam.html

New subbie here. I love this idea. An easy recycling and useful idea. Dang it, I just gave a boat load of plastic bags to Target for recycling. :( I will have to rebuild my stash.:) I have a Request. Would you make two vids using these squares, one making that grocery bag you mentioned and the other making the sleeping mats. I think those are fabulous ideas. Great job. Tfs.

Mookie Me plans are in the works to get those videos done. I got a new camera and I had some learning to do before I could get back to creating. Sorry the reply took so long! (Keep getting error messages. ) Thanks for subscribing!

Np. Life happens to us all. Plus nowadays everyone has to be a technician in-addition to the many other hats that we must wear. Lol. Looking forward to the new vids. Thanks.

Suggestion: For peeps who have arthritis, you should do this video using a large crochet hook.
