I love, love, love this!!! I'm making one in camouflage for my dad and another in pink and colors that compliments for my niece. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing pattern. After searching and searching for something that popped out at me to crochet for my dad, I came across your video and was instantly hooked! Thanks, mate, again for sharing!!!❤️

SO pleased that you love the pattern. This blanket is my number one favourite crochet blanket - it is absolutely stunning and even men like it. I'm sure your Dad and Neice will be over the moon!

@@CrochetTutorials11 the half diamonds are the regular one only done until the start of the decrease? I may have overlooked where you discussed it. I'm about to start assembling everything and wanted to make sure so I don't do anything wrong.

@@Born_Again_Viking Yes, that's correct. Although the LONG half diamonds are halved length wise, instead of across the middle and they are worked slightly differently. The stich chart for them is shown at 3.20

@@OPW I already crocheted the long ones. Just wanted to make sure I was gonna do the half ones correctly before crocheting them.

Thank you so much for the great instructions. I was kind of scared to do this cause I’m used to my own techniques, but you explained it super clearly! Thank you, again! Can’t wait to start this project. :)

OH!!! I am so happy to hear this! Thanks so much for making this comment!. This blanket is on my daughter's bed now and it just makes me smile every time I see it. I won't say it's not labour intensive hahaha but it is very much worth it. All the best with yours!! xx

Beautiful afghan. I would love to make one but I need a how to join them tutorial before I start
@CrochetTutorials113 жыл бұрын
Hi Belinda!! Thankyou for this comment!! The joining tutorial will be up in the next couple of days. I do hope you make one. I love this one (and even the teenager loves it!!). I also used a pom pom border for it and it just looks stunning. But the weather here has been bad in recent days and I have yet to record that video.

So how many side pieces are there and then how many top and bottom pieces all together
@CrochetTutorials11 Жыл бұрын
Hiya!! I had to judge from my photos unfortunately, because this blanket is currently packed away (still very summery here in Australia).. but from my count it is 28. This includes all of the triangles for the top and bottom, the long triangles for the side and the two corner quarters. My blanket is queen bed sized.

So how many full diamonds are there in this project?
@CrochetTutorials112 жыл бұрын
From memory it was somewhere around 90.. This is for a queen size bed though and it hangs over the edge about half way down the mattress. Hope that helps!!

This afgan is beautiful and just what I was looking for! I saw your comment that approximately 90 diamonds were used. I'm comfortable making the diamonds and triangles. How did you join the diamonds? Do you have a video for the stitch that you used? Thanks in advance.... Yvonne

Hi Yvonne! Glad you love it. I have made so many blankets and this is by far the most eye catching. i love looking at it. Hopefully you'll love yours just as much. I WILL say that the joining is quite fiddly (I pinned all the diamonds together so I could start to join them) but the actual stitch is super easy. Here's the video on the stitch. So I am going to attempt this blanket? But I can’t find a clear pattern tutorial that shows how to make the top half of the diamond where you start to decrease :(
@CrochetTutorials112 жыл бұрын
I do demonstrate it in this video here... But you can also access the chart, via my Ravelry page www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/harlequin-blanket---blocks Hope that helps!
