Hey! Thanks for the shout out! :) Looking forward to doing the Hobbii advent together! :)) I’m sorry to hear that it’s been such a challenging year for you. It has for me too, but it’s finally starting to look up, and starting to feel the creative juices flowing again. Actually haven’t picked up a hook for some months, but excited to get started again. Your spooktober series was amazing, not sure how you kept up that crazy pace all month, but well done!! I can see why you needed the break, glad you are giving that to yourself as you need it. I am excited to be doing the advent together too! It's going to be so much fun! I am ready for this year to go. We are so close! I had so many days where I didn't pick up a hook either, but it's nice to come back to it every time. I'm glad to hear you're feeling those creative juices again! And thank you!! It was a crazy month, but I did it! I wanted to prove to myself that I could do something like that, and I did! It was rewarding, but exhausting! Stuff is coming! Hi Nadeige! Glad you are okay! Was afraid we wore you out making all those Spooky movie amigurumis for us. Sorry your Thanksgiving was challenging this year, but your sweater sure turned out pretty. I think everyone's lives are hectic from just before Thanksgiving through New Years, no worries, just glad you are okay. Wow! Lots of orders coming up! That's exciting! I think I identify more with Max than the Grinch, you know me and dogs, LOL! How are all of your dogs doing BTW? Hope they are all doing well. If you could do a tutorial for Grinch's eyes I would really appreciate it since I have started a Grinch scarf and don't know how to do the yellow half-circle-ish eyes with the black eyebrows. I usually do a lot of baking and card making in December, but my papercrafting supplies are still packed up and buried in my craft room since we moved to this new address, then Ty got ill, then sicker, then passed, then we got Roy, then Tibby, then I started breaking down more and more... so it will probably just be baking this year and I will have to buy store bought cards instead. 😕 I'd love to send you one if you were comfortable sharing your address and there was a safe way to do so. I have been working on velvet-twist ear warmers for the staff/volunteers at the rescue who cared for Tibby (we adopted him in May but this will be his first Christmas with us - I already finished his stocking - I wanted to finish it before Thanksgiving and I finished it the Monday before so GOAL ATTAINED! WOOT! LOL!!) They SHOULD work up quickly but I have to keep stopping to take breaks to continue decorating and trimming the tree because I can only do so much of either until I start hurting, so I have to keep switching off. I've been a lot worse lately really, would not be surprised if spinal fusion #3 is in the near future... Our Thanksgiving was lovely thank you! 😊 Really any Thanksgiving when hubby is home and not deployed, and our dogs are with us and healthy, is a GOOD holiday. I had fun watching Tibby enjoy his first Thanksgiving with us, snarfing down turkey and sweet potatoes and carrots and pumpkin and mashed potatoes and a bit of roll (Roy got his meal too, but this was his third Thanksgiving with us) then slip into a tryptophan coma shortly afterwards; really warms my heart and reminds me of how blessed I am, pain and all, I have so much to be thankful for. Thanks for sharing all your creations with us. I keep waiting for one of your adorable piggies to pop up in your Etsy shop, but I bet they are snatched up before I can get one because they are so cute! Be well John Spartan! ❤ Meredith

Hello!!! Great to hear from you, as always 😊 The dogs are doing pretty good. Ginger is now fully blind and needs insulin shots twice a day for her diabetes, but she still has a whole lot of life left in her. It sounds like your holiday season is pretty busy! It's always good to switch off between doing a project and other things. I've been trying to do that more so I don't end up hurting myself or getting sore. It's so nice of you to make those ear warmers! I bet they will be so thankful for such a thoughtful gift! I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving. I'm more there to give the dogs treats the whole day because it makes me happy to see them happy, so I feel like you feel the same, haha. I hope your pain is managed ok for you! I can't even imagine! Yikes! I hope everything is going well for you there. Keep an eye out for the shop, I'll have some stuff going up here tomorrow! (Maybe you'll see some piggies 😉) 💕 🧶 🤗
