Adorable dress! Thank you for the printed pattern! I wasn’t sure where you added the tie so I watched that on the video and realized that the sc row around the straps and bodice are not in the printed pattern. So glad I watched the video. I used light and dark pink and white. Off to my niece whose baby is due next month! Will be making this again. Thank you! 💕🧶💕

It’s not an invisible joint, it’s called the mattress stitch an invisible join is when you are finishing up in around and instead of slip stitching to join you cut your yarn and you create what looks like a faux stitch

I am doing your window pane blanket and have a question. In the1st row you say to start in the2nd chain from the hook but in following rows you say begin in the1st stitch. That won't cause my rows to be uneven? I'm new to crochet so forgive me if I am asking a dumb question.

When you’re going around the granny square with half double crochets, why would there be 11 stitches instead of 12? If you’re going into the top of each double crochet below with a half double crochet there are four sets of three double crochets so that’s 12 where are you? Skipping one?

Yes! Just make the skirt straps longer and maybe make 2 extra squares for the bodice. Very easy to make larger. Can you get a sundress in her size to measure against? That’s the easiest way. I run to goodwill and pick up the size I need

I’d use 5 or 6 squares instead of 7 and make the skirt a bit shorter. Maybe only 4 rows per color?

I am doing one for my 4 month old granddaughter and think 6squares for the top will fit best. With an even number would you suggest the seam go down the side! Or would the middle of the back square work better?
