Thank you so much! There I think only 1" difference, easy way is make with 3.5mm crochet hook the same pattern. Because if you will add more for example 2 extra chains then you need make 1st part where hdc 5 need make hdc 6 a little bit complicated then I need all recalculate, but If its me I just take bigger hook. Baby: 2 weeks - 3 months Head Circumference: 14" Hat Circumference: 13 - 13.5 " Hat Height: 6" Baby: 3 - 6 months Head Circumference: 15" Hat Circumference: 14 - 14.5 " Hat Height: 6" standard size, difference only 1" wider, better use bigger crochet hook.

Oh Thank you nice to hear from you. Actually I do not teach how to crochet. I create patterns myself it is what I like to do, to be different form other channels. I do not like teach like for very beginners insert hook pull up a loop etc :) but if you can follow its nice. People sometimes ask written patterns but I do not have website because my English grammar no good enough yet and also this takes so much time, because I am still young and working as well :) and still need to work for next 23 years. I do this only because I like and keep myself busy. Also I do not have patterns like PDF when I create pattern I write down small notes just Ch 28 and 12 hdc rounds then make decreases in every second. Its all, only I can understand this. Then I make video and then I watch all what I done and start write on the screen, all this 40 min videos takes for me 3 days time, to create to make video to work with video. Most important thing is I love to do it. :)

I’m looking for a newborn to 3/4 month size, soft, stretchy beanie that can be worn by girl or boy baby (depending on color or add on piece to identify sex) in hospital. Love your beanie w crochet flower w button in middle for baby girl. Would you have an idea and pattern for other add ons to identify (other than flower) boy or girl babies. Some add on for season or animal perhaps that’s not complicated. We have a small hospital in town. I want a crochet project for interested residents, young girls/boys, older people to do this as a regular project. This is volunteer project and items would be cleaned and donated new to hospital for mostly newborns arriving. Thank you for all the lovely patterns you give us on youtube! If you haven’t any ideas or patterns, that’s perfectly fine!!! I don’t want you to trouble you. A blue and white stripe beanie would be perfect for boy babies; and the white hat w sm flower for girls! Just thought I’d run this idea by you. Initially, I will be crocheting beanies to introduce to Hosp for approval.

For some reason in row 4 after the the 13 dc I had 3 st left over so instead of the 7 sets of alternating 2 dc and then 1 dc I did 9 sets and it brought me to the end of the row. Now it looks like you are unsure of how to do this and you are just making it up as you go along. Why not print a pattern, please?

But thank you for your comment for Next videos I will write rows or rounds as well. Bonnet pattern is correct, because people made already. Just this first rows try do again.

I just checked, I have 54 sts. Check round 4. R 4. Start in the same st, sc 7, hdc E 5, dc 2, (2dc in next, dc 2) repeat x 6 times, 2 dc in next stitch, dc 2, hdc E 5, sc 7 = 54 sts Also you can in Row 5. sc row just in two places (crochet 2 sc together) x 2 times, then you will get back to 54 sts. You have somewhere mistake, but it is not big problem, just in next row change back to 54. How to read pattern if Nr before like example 2 dc its means 2 dc in the same stitch, if Nr of stitches after example dc 2 , this means in next 2 stitches 1dc in each stitch.
