CROCHET BEANIE WITH GRANNY SQUARES | HOW TO CROCHET A BEANIE EASY AND BEGINNER FRIENDLY PATTERN

Within this videotutorial, we are learning how to crochet an easy and beginner friendly crochet beanie. This crochet hat is consist of with 5 granny squares. You will join these crochet motifs and you will have a beautiful crochet winter beanie. If you want, you can crochet it with cotton yarn or if you want, you can crochet with a wolleen yarn for for winter.
The pattern is easy. It is basis crochet granny squares. And I used a crochet ribbing pattern at the edge of the beanie.
I used 3 mm hook. This is a nice crochet design if you have scrap yarn.
In this video tutorial, you can find all key points to make a perfect and beautiful granny square beanie. You can also use the same granny square motifs for blankets, table cloths, bed covers, cardigans, sweaters, crochet skirts, crochet dresses, kitchen aprons, hot pot holders, hot pad, e.t.c.

No, dear, if you watch the video tutorial, I explain all measurements. Anyhow, the top square and the Side squares are the same. Except the very last round, all squares are with 6 rounds. Including the very last round that we joined the squares to each other, then each öne is 7 rounds when you finish the Beanie.

The measurements of the squares with 6 rounds: 10 cm from left to right, from top to down

This video was EXCELLENT! But my squares came out big. 6-1/2 x 6 -1/2. I used acrylic #4 yarn and a 3.50 mm hook. What could I do different? This was my first time joining too. Ty sooo much!!

Dear, since you use acrilic yarn, your squares become bigger. İf you want to go on use acrilic, then make the square 1 round smaller. You can ignore the last round and make it 1 round smaller and then joining.

On the ball label, it is not written. But I can tell you the brand : Alize Cotton Gold. 1 ball is 100 Gr yarn. It is standard, ordinary cotton yarn. Not a special one.

I advise you to do this: Measure the circumference of the kids head. And devide this to 4. Like this, you will find the size of 1 square from 1 side to another. Hope it is clear.

Sorry. But no. With the cotton yarn I used, you can use maximum 3,5 mm hook. 5 mm is very big. But if you use chunky yarns, it can be. But that time, you should make the squares less than 6 rounds. Such as 4 rounds. But I advise you to use cotton yarn and 3 mm hook. İt is better if you want to crochet the same beanies 🥰🥰

I did not make a Beanie for a baby. But I advice you to measure the size round of the baby and devide that figure into 4. Then you will find each square should be how many cm as only 1 Side from left to right. Accordingly, make the square. Ör if you have slready a baby beanie, do the same thing for that.
