They have backings on them so you can’t get them out

You also can use glue on safety eye before applying backing…..and keep in mind the age if the child you’re giving too.

hi, love your tutorial, but i am a little bit confused, what is the difference between the decreases and jus making a single crochet

A decrease takes away a stitch, making the stitch count less than before. A single crochet would give the same amount of stitches

When crocheting a decrease, you put your hook thru one stitch and pull up a loop then put hook thru the following stitch and pull up a loop (3 loops now on your hook) then you yarn over and pull thru all 3 loops.

@carolynhummel4791 Yeah, I was confused too. I ended up just guessing and putting the arms where I thought they looked right and finishing off the row and counting it as all the same row. It ended up working out OK for me but I'd have to go through it again to make it make sense... I haven't made another one from this pattern since I first commented here, I'm sorry I can't be of more help!

So when it comes to the ears, there’s only two rows? Was it just a miss print saying row three after row one? It’s a shame to get all the way down to the last part and not have it right.

I think it was a typo and it should just be 1 & 2! She finishes with 9 stitches total and the only way to get from 6 to 9 is to have 1 increase per row/about 4 rows (ears would be too big) or simply do the 6sc in 2nd ch from hook and then 1sc, 1inc; 3x

When the writing comes on, you can pause it and write the instructions out. Or just pause it and you do what she’s telling you. You can also stretch your screen to zoom into her stitch that she’s working on.
