How many squares did you make total and how many across and how many down to make your blanket. Thatbis what I am making as well, but I am using bulky 6 yarn.

The pattern is beautiful but your video was a bit confusing at times sometimes you went very fast other times you made mistakes and you turned back to fix so l got mixed up. Better to hear your voice than the music. Pity because l wanted to make blanket.

Thank you so much for loving this pattern! You can add few sc around or hdc around to make it larger. I have shared an afghan square 6" and 12" sizes with this pattern in the middle. You can use it for a make it bigger. Here are the pattern link for the afghan square >> www.crochetforyoublog.com/2020/02/emerald-asscher-crochet-afghan-square/

Great pattern! I was looking for a PDF and can't find it, even following the links to Ravelry. The music is nice but a bit distracting. I'd prefer to hear you tell/explain the step by step instructions.
@lbo60503 жыл бұрын
Please dont think I mean to be rude here but... you know, I also personally prefer tutorials with voice instruction but its only bc it is less work for me and easier. But I certainly dont expect it, these videos aren't simple to make and everyone has different styles. I'm thankful for any free pattern and for someone to take the time to film, edit and post a video (also free) is very generous.

I was able to follow just fine and made my first square! It is beautiful! I did 2 colours like you, but there are lots of ends to weave in, which is making me reconsider making this square in 2 colours. I’m lazy I guess....we could not see your ends hanging in the video, do you have a trick? Thanks!

How can add this square crochet plz
@crochetforyou2 жыл бұрын
If you meant about joining squares there are many ways to join crochet squares. You can sew the squares together or use single crochet seam. I have used a flat zipper method for joining floral granny squares. 🙂Here is the video tutorial for the flat zipper method > kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2isdqKspcSCfJI

Not easy to work this and I crochet a lot, verbal instructions would be so welcome. Please keep to a constant pace , you either go too slowly or you speed up just when I’m beginning to get the hang of it.
@gracepilditch93884 жыл бұрын
I did pause constantly and usually that does the trick . Thanks for this I’ll have a look.
@Rita-cd9bj3 жыл бұрын
To everyone that Complained about the music on the video... there is a mute button .... Most that play music only, cannot speak English... Also this person may find it difficult to speak of each stitch while doing it... There is also a little Gear shape icon, this will allow you to set the speed of the video, and of course you can always just pause or go back to watch again, And the pattern is available in Print, and you don't need a printer..... I hit print on my laptop, and then hit save, it simply saves it in my files ... I can pull it up and read just as a real printed paper pattern.
