Hi! I just wanted to say thank you so much for this video. This was the reason why I started crocheting in May (or June?) and it was my first project. I had contact with people who did crochet so I was familiar and I have always been the kind of person who's always doing something artistic because I can't just do One Thing, but I never took seriously the idea of crocheting, but one day I saw your video and this glove was so cute that I thought I wanted it too. I could have just commissioned my mom's friend to do it, but for some reason I didn't want that, I wanted to be the one to do it. So I did. I bought yarn and made this glove. I didn't even try to learn the basics first, I just came straight to this video (yes, I'm insane). AND IT WAS SO EASY!! Your channel really is beginner friendly, not like some videos that say to be beginner friendly and just skip a lot of steps leaving us confused. This video is literally what made me learn crochet. Yes, my cat paw glove is not great, I made many mistakes on the way and had to re-do everything so many times that I can't even remember 😭 The final result is kind of a mess, I know now what I did wrong back then, but it could have been worse. I'll be doing another glove now that I know how to crochet properly, but I will definitely keep my first glove because it's important to me. I rewatched your videos many times while doing it, but I don't think you can see the number of views one person gave and you would never know the impact you had on someone if they don't speak, that's why I'm writing this comment. PEOPLE WHO WANTS A EASIER SLIPKNOT(I just started and learned this Srry if u didn’t understand): ALSO ITS LIKE A JUMPING GAME WITH UR YARN 1.hold ur pointing finger 2.Wrap the point finger two times I mean like two straps of ur yarn 3.take the one that is behind the other one(near the tip or ur finger) 4.take the one that was infront but now behind it is time for it to jump but it gets tooo excited and jumps of the hand 5.THEN u can tighten the knot and ola u have a slipknot

Hey, I know I’m late to this comment but I have been crochet for 2-3 years and thought of helping you, so the reason it didn’t close was because you probably made a double crochet over the end of the circle so it doesn’t close, that means you have to make a bigger slip knot/magic circle.
