I love this pattern! I had to watch the tutorial a few times; rewind, pause, rewind, watch again. But it's coming out well. I nicer choice to a traditional granny square.

I stumbled on this video and am so insanely happy I did! I adore the Catherine's wheel and have made several afghans with it. I saw a picture of this once but could never track down a pattern. Thank you so much for this. I'm already plotting my next project!

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am making this into a blanket for my parents and I had originally used another youtuber's video and had to start over three times. You make this so much easier to understand! Thanks again!

I want to try this in the gradual color changes you show in another tutorial.. wonder how that will work with the 2 strands.

This is gorgeous! Was there an error in the beginning of the video? There was a new "beginning" at around the 4:40 mark. I definitely want to make this in a bit, but I'll keep watching to see if that is explained.

pearlsamb82 Aha! Nevermind! Just answered my own Q. You were doing a chain ring vs a magic loop version (I looove the magic loop) of the beginning.
@dissodatore5 жыл бұрын
@@pearlsamb8299 , actually both were chain rings.

So is there a way to make this blanket with something like a Caron cake, instead of having to cut the ends and start in the middle?

Good morning. Do you happen to have a video of a harlequin square pattern? I've looked and didn't see one. If not, can you please make one.

How come, when you joined the green you did a sc decrease first, before the ch 4 and cluster, but when you joined the pink you just did a sc, then ch 4 & cluster....no initial sc decrease?

Can this be done using the lion brand mandala yarn?
@TheCrochetCrowd7 жыл бұрын
For sure... just know that if the yarn changes colour in the top half of a wheel, it will mean the wheel will have two colours and not one. Up to you. Creativity is subjective to your needs. :D

Do you have written instructions for the “in the round?”
@TheCrochetCrowd2 жыл бұрын
Yes. It’s in the video description fir the link to it. All of our videos have the links to patterns in video description.

I checked the link. The pattern is in the round. i'm unsure why it's showing differently for you. I'm sorry that's happening to you.

This is what I am seeing but perhaps I am looking in the wrong area. I really would love to have this pattern: Chain Length - Sets of 8 + 2 (see paragraph above) Sc 2nd ch from hook and next chain. *skip 2 chains, put 7 dc into next chain. Skip 2 chains, 1 sc into each of the next three stitches. Repeat * across. Final two stitches left over should be 1 sc into each. Fasten off yarn. Turn.

could this be made into a purse
@nevada44167 жыл бұрын
yes it could. you would line it with silky material and sew it to the crochet fabric. Or you could get the book The complete photo guide to crochet which has the pattern.

At the 15:50 mark, how in the heck do you get to only having 4 stitches left to work in? I have 7. I can see you stitched something in 3 of those spaces, but have no idea what stitches they are! With the gaf at the beginning and now this, I can't finish the square. :( I'll find another video....it would be nice if this could be re-done, there are errors in it and it would be great if you could fix the errors and put up an edited version. I know this is an older video, so it would be nice if you could re-visit this stitch.
