Crochet Daisy Keychain Tutorial

Ch 55 Sc 54 into back bumps Ch 3 and turn Sc5 together to make daisy, Ch1 Repeat daisy stich Hdc in the same st you ended on Ch1 and turn Sc into top of hdc Skip st 2sc into eye of daisy, skip stich, repeat all the way Sc (into last stich I think) Ch1 and turn Sc all the way across Rotate, 4sc, rotate Ch1 Slip st across Rotate, insert 5 sc Leave a long tail, add the keychain. Sew ends together. Move the chain over the seam and sew under the chain until it's secure. Weave in ends

Even with counting + double counting my stitches, at the end of my daisy stitches i keep ending up with an extra stitch? Any idea why that might be happening?

Hey, also having this problem rn, i think it’s because the starting number of chains is wrong. So instead of starting with 55, start with 54 and it should solve the problem. From what it seems the starting number of chains should be even for this stitch to work, hope this helps.

i had same problem. If you look at the video to start row 2 it appears that she skips the triple chain stitch and start the sc 5 together in the second stitch.

A tip I used when I first started was to put a stitch marker in every 10, I have adhd and this really helped
