Please, can you explain how to end the row with slip stitch and one chain. I end up too much increasing stitches in a row😭. Should slip stitch and 1 chain replace the last stitch in a row or it goes after, for example 8 increases

Slip stitch to the first stitch before starting your next row then chain 1 and continue your row from that stitch (for example do your sc in the same stitch you just slip stitched) then before ending that row there will be an extra stitch and a chain (your slip stitch and your ch1 at the start) skip them and repeat the pattern. Also always count your stitches till you understand how it works (I struggled a lot when I first started) I hope this will be helpful❤

so for round 12 you do 8sc then you do the 1sc and 1inc 4 times then 7sc then do 1sc and 1inc 4 times again then do 9sc. for round 13 8sc 1sc 1dec do that 4 times then 7sc then do 1sc 1dec then you do 9sc!

I am using medium 4 yarn and with the pattern, looks like duck size will be bigger than in video. Any suggestions how to reduce size of duck? Like should I start with taking fewer sc in the round 1 and how should I go further ? Please suggest ❤

no most of the time in this tutorial if it’s in parentheses it means it is repeated pattern for example (1 sc, 1 dec) x7 means you do 1 sc in one stitch and 1 dec for the next one but repeat that process seven times. hope that makes sense!
