***IMPORTANT*** Starting from timestamp 12:22, the instructions/pattern for Row 14 is wrong. Do NOT increase at the end of Row 14. I had to undo so many times because it didn’t look right and finally figured out what was wrong. The instruction for Row 15 is correct. Make sure you DONT skip the first stitch (unlike what we have been doing so far). That would be your inc instead of the one we weren’t supposed to do on row 14. If you increase at the end of Row 14, and dc on the first stitch of Row 15, you would be making 2X the increase and thus 2X steeper/higher than the other side of the chest Depending on if you end with an even or odd number of rows on the first half of the chest, The pattern would be : Row 14- chain 3, skip first stitch, DC in BLO until the end of the row Row 15- DC in first stitch BLO and until the end of the row Or vice versa Row 14- DC in first stitch BLO and until the end of the row Row 15-chain 3, skip first stitch, DC in BLO until the end of the row *the number of stitches should match symmetrically to the other side* if you follow the pattern for row 14&15 on the video, your stitch count will be very off by the time you finish

I was going crazy because in the video she showed it increasing at the end of row 14. And in row 15 she also didn’t skip a stitch. I kept checking if I was wrong from reading the pattern or from her video.

for my bigger chested girls - that ch 6 around 6:47 is not going to be enough coverage, add more chains before decreasing rows for the bust (i chained 15, skipped 3, and double crocheted into 12 stitches before continuing blo down the top). this also works if you just like your tops a little more modest. hope this helps :)

A lovely pattern - one I actually completed and cant wait to wear! I did make a couple amendments to suit my shape and I've added these incase they are helpful. I'm a UK size 12 top. For the initial starting chain I chained 28 + 3 turning chains. For the side panels I added an additional 2 rows to make 15. For the bust increase, I added 9 chains (6 + 3 turning chains). To decrease on the otherside, I slip stitched 6 to then chain 3 to continue with row. For decreasing half of bust panel, I continued so I had 15 decreasing rows. To increase, I therefore did a further 2 increasing rows to even out. For the lower band of solid DC stitches, I crocheted 4 rows of DC (not 6 - I have a short torso). I used Cotton DK Classique by stylecraft in sunshine (maybe 175g?) and rico baby dream DK in 021 (varigated for the accents, maybe 30g?) Hope this may help! Thank you again for the fab pattern!

You can achieve this on your own for this one my measuring from the middle of your back to your armpit, then follow the rest of the steps till you get to the under arm part again and then go all the way till the middle of your back again and then sew the two back panels where they meet

Personal edits (so I can sew up the back instead of lace up) starting chain of 30, do 26 rows of the original panel, chain 12 for bust section, decrease for 19 rows, do row with no decreases, increase 18 rows, do same amount of rows on other side of back panel, for waist bit decrease at start and end to make the waist tighter
