In this video tutorial i'm using mercerized cotton yarns called YarnArt Begonia(50g/169m/185yds) of Turkish origin. The hook is 2.7mm (or C/2 in USA size or 12 in Canada/UK size).

This pattern is great Most easy crochet tutorial I've seen so far have been for snowflakes I can't identify with snowflakes Not really I live on South Padre Island, Texas It can at times, get cool, about 13 c 55 f, but not to the point of snow ( at least not in my lifetime). Hi there,Your video tutorials are fantastic! I'm new to crochet and been studying tutorials for days. I already messed up on this one, counted the first 3 ch. as part of the 17 double crochet in the first row. I was wondering how you do this flower in a half motif. Do you still do the 6 chains at the beginning or are they cut down to 3 chains. I would really love it if you could add a video on this and your snowflake motif done in half's.
