Your demonstration is perfect for beginners. Every detail one needs to know is there. I really really want to do this in the round. For a clutch bag. I did it but I don’t like the way I connected the rows. Can you explain how to end one line and going to the next so it doesn’t show? How many multiples I should have 3 or 2?

I have worked this 4 times and I always end up with one stitch left over on the end.. is this because I don’t use the back loop on my foundation chain? And just HDC on that last one? .. 😐.. I tried to do in the back ‘bump’ and still ended up with one left over at the end.. gonna just make it even and not add one ☝️ 💖🌈🐻

i must have messed up coutning, i chained in 2's then plus 1 and i ended up with an extra 1 at the end of my row :(
@tamara252525 жыл бұрын
I had to look up what that meant. The "chain in multiples of two plus one" part means you chain in multiples of 2, obviously, and add the plus one at the end. The plus one acts as the turning chain.

When you pick up loops in the next two chains (loops 5 & 6), are you going into the "back bump" of the foundation chain, or picking up both strands of the chain?
@JeskaLynn733 жыл бұрын
I've seen it done both ways in different tutorials. When I'm doing Row 1, I just do one strand from the foundation chain. When I'm on further rows in the middle of the work, I do both strands.

I noticed your videos are very short. However, I was hoping you would help beginners like me. Can you do a S-L-O-W- Granny Square tutorial from beginning to end (30 minutes)? I've tried to follow vids making the GS with clusters (treble crochet) but I get lost be'cz the vids have TMI. Sometimes they speed up their vids (not fair- THEY get bored, and I get confused) and I get lost! If someone would just DO the steps (stating the stitch only) the vid would be EASY. Thanks.
@Blessed-2-b-a-Hembree4 жыл бұрын
Pinky Green I know it’s been a year but for those that aren’t aware, you can slow the speed down by clicking on the three dots at the top right corner of the video. I’d suggest watching the video first then watching again at a slower speed and pausing it to caught up if you need to.
