Love this. It reminds me of a bag that my Grandmother made for me when I was a little girl. She used little wooden handles and the granny stitch although it wasn't as pretty as this one as she used scraps that she had and they were shades of brown. I loved it and sadly don't have it anymore. She also put a lining in it for me. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

my half circle ones always twisted around, so watch out for that, the circular ones were easier to handle!

I love this bag. I've made three- one for my friend who fell in love with it so I gave it to her. The second one lined with faux fur for my toy fox terrier Jack (It is his sleeping cocoon in my jeep and I can carry him in it in the shops) and finally the third one for me! If you are not going to line it using acrylic yarn it will stretch with the weight of whatever you put in your bag. Perhaps try cotton yarn as doesn’t stretch as much. Good luck, Anja x

My lining went pear shape 😬😂. It was a tad too small, well exact size and then I had to do a small hem. My friends sewing machine wasn’t coping with it so I finished by hand this morning. Probably won’t be too bad when it is finished but only using as a yarn bag. I’ll post photos on the group 😊
