Can you tell us how many squares for large size please. On the link it just says more squares for bigger size and that the one you did is s/m. So if you can clarify for bigger size please.

I would use the diagram she showed as a template. Pin the pieces together and see where you need more pieces. You might need 4 more solid blue squares to get the back to fit but you may find you like the way the front fits. Or you may find you want it longer and that you need too add to the front too.

You should crochet a square, measure it. After that measure the length of your shoulders and calculate how many squares you will need for your size. Measure the fullest part of your chest (to the half width of your body) and add a vertical row (or two) of colourful squares. Additional squares depend on your measurements.
