Love your tutorials Krystal! Thank you for sharing them with us 🙏🏻 Just a small tip: when you are making the straps don't just mention to do 150 chains because that can be quite short for certain people. After finishing the top, I realized that the straps were too short for me and now I will have to try to add more chains to the straps, which will make the top look a bit "faulty". Next time, maybe just mention that the size of the straps will be different for different torsos and give a tip of how to measure the size of straps according to someone's body 🙂

I love this top! It’s so cute especially when you mix and match colors. Question for the crochet community, how do you add the extra pieces of yarn from switching colors? I have a bunch of yarn ends that have nowhere to go 🥲

omg i wrote a long detailed reply but i clicked in the wrong button and got it deleted, so i'll make it short. i hold the 2 ends (from the old and the new yarn) on top of the previous row of stitches and when i crochet i crochet around them, encasing them inside the stitches, like you do when you're carrying yarn (idk if you're familiar but if you're not there are many tutorials on youtube on how to carry yarn)

How do I know the number of chains to wrap around someone else

Take the length you need to get the under-bust measurement and then subtract about four inches/10cm so it can be tied at the back or have a corset back :)
