So, if one is doing the chainless foundation row how many extra sc should be added instead of the original six of your chaining?

Hi again! The pattern of gray hearts with the teal background and the blue hearts with the white background are different from the others. The horizontal stripes go all the way across and there’s a vertical stripe between the hearts. Is that in the pattern?

Heeelllp! I’m stuck on row 1. I’m doing 150 chains. Does the count 7, 9 after the second heart? Or does it remain 7,7,9 all the way through?

The 7’s are only on the outside hearts, the ones that make up the edge. Between the hearts on the inside of the blanket is 9. So it would go 7, heart, 9, heart, 9, heart, 7 when you’re done with the amount of hearts you want

I'm confused. The written pattern uses the same color A for the foundation rows AND the first two rows of the pattern. You switched the colors after the foundation rows and before the first two of the pattern...which is correct? Now I have spent time doing 113 chains and 2 foundation rows with the wrong color. I wish you'd state which we are supposed to start with.

If you are doubting me and know how to read a pattern, always follow the pattern instructions. If I think there is an error in the pattern, I state that. I'm really sorry, I see this is your second complaint. I'm probably not the right host for you here on KZbin. There are so many great teachers out there.

I've tried like 5 times to do this pattern but the count for the base is off or something. I count 18 until my desired length and add the additional stitch each time I wind up with 11 extra stitches. What am I doing wrong or are the numbers wrong?

You do groups of 18 and then add the six stitches at the end I think.

Sounds awesome can't wait to try th.I however think you can do a little less talking inbetween giving and before giving the pattern. explain row by row and don't jump ahead as this is confusing esp if you're blind and going by ear.
