Not sure if you'll read this far back, over a year now. But I'm just finding you. I started crocheting last month and have learned everything I know from friendly people like you who put out videos on youtube. Thank you SO MUCH for making your tutorials beginner friendly! Tinna!!!! Thank you, thank you! This was a real challenge for me and I have many teeny boo-boos throughout. I actually made a dishcloth approx. 7x14 in size. A funny....about half way through for some reason, I made up a new DC stitch. 🤣 My begginning slip stitch lacked really bad on the R side, and I had to do some real "finagling" to get it under control. All in all for my very first mosaic (I wish I could pronounce it like you do!), I'm pleased! You are very talented and after hanging out with you for hours....I feel like I can call you my friend! For real! Be blessed and keep on crochetin' for love!

I'm a big fan of your designs, methods, colour-schemes and tutorials, Tinna. You (and Bella Coco) have taught me to crochet & given me such pleasure in watching, following and then creating for myself. I've been able to knit since I was a kid (and was told I was unteachable as a 'leftie' in a family of 'righties' - Hah!) There's something so satisfying about just working down to that one stitch on the hook every time. It's like meditation. 💝💖

This double-border is a really great way to touch up the sides and loose yarn. Although, instead of dc stitches, I would rather go with linked-dc or linked-hdc, the linked versions leave less space between stitches, and instead of lacey you can get more of a woven look. Thank you for another fun tutorial. I am officially a fan of mosaic crochet and a Tinna fan, as well.

What a fun video! I enjoyed making the sample and now am going to add the border to a Tunisian blanket I've made. I used a 5.0mm hook and don't have a 4.5mm. So I went to a 4.0mm. On my blanket, I will just use the same size hook because 4.0mm made the border just a little too tight. Thanks so much for such enjoyable lessons. I spent a great evening with you and it was such a fun visit! Even watching the crazy ads was fun.

I disagree: I think the first two rounds are easily the most enjoyable part of the border. I just finished a queen sized Thule 200 plus rows. I joined front and back with a stitch marker every 25 rows, really thankful that I thought to do it. Saved myself a lot of aggravation. Thoroughly enjoyed making it. Beautiful.

Wow...mind blown... I've been crocheting for so long and never had an idea to fix the border of blankets. Crocheting sc or any other stitch around tends to get so irregular and messy. I'm going to use this method on ALL of my crochet blankets from now on, whether mosaic crochet or not! This is so neat! Thank you so much!!

Thank you for these lessons! At last some crochet that is useful and easily can be made into 1920's 1930's art deco style!
