I would have appricated something in the title about it being for a purchased pattern. Started it only to reach the point where you said the pattern makes it clear how many stitches to put in, then it jumps ahead. Reading the comments I see everyone saying they bought the pattern. I have no issue with this being for a purchased pattern, its great really. But a little heads up so people arent disappointed like I was would be nice. Now Im going to go find one of the free tutorials for this same bootie.

just so you know on step 20 for the sides, Row 4 doesnt say how many sc's to do to get the final amount, just says the sc2tog twice and total stitches, nothing about sc after that. so if I wasnt following your video i wouldnt have really known reading the pattern. Thank you for the video though!

Looks like that’s the point of making you buy the patern… not free, not for beginners …

The video works for all bootee sizes. The pattern tells you how many stitches and rows for each size. Not totally free but we'll worth the small price and an easy pattern for beginners.

My only question is about the yarn I can use here in the States. I cannot find a DK yarn in the colors want (gold and purple). I have either Lyon Brand 24/7 100% cotton #4 or Big Twist #4 yarn. Which is my best option? I purchased the pattern on Etsy, and combine with this tutorial, these booties should come together nicely. I simply need help with what yarn I should use. THANK YOU!

Loved tutorial, but was a little disappointed in some parts where actual numbers of stitches were note given, just references were made. There was no mention of how to do reversed shoe. Learning to crochet is really is in two parts .... (1) You learn how to operate the hook and yarn .... (2) You learn how to read written patterns.... I learned to crochet 50 + years ago, when there was no such thing as internet.... I had to learn how to read written patterns, (as that's all there was) .... You are still learning, and this is a great time, ( You have videos) Don't give up.... just look for easier patterns that fit your Skill level, and continue to practice ... You will become better at it.
