This is not just my first flower but my first anything lol (other than swathes learning the stitches) I'm so excited this is brilliant and amazing thanks so so much

Wow, I have always wanted to learn how to crochet...but always couldn't pick it up as the person who always showed me used to do the steps so fast that I got lost everytime. Bella Coco, you must be a teacher because the patience and gentleness in your voice makes the video so easy to watch. I can't wait to my a few roses myself thanks to your amazing tutorial. :-)

great tutorials, with lots of ideas. For people who struggle to make the chains a little loose, try sizing up the hook for this step, and then changing back to make the stitches.
@ClareW233 жыл бұрын
I found that doing this left large holes in the middle of of the shells and that the first shells (that go on the outside) were more compressed (from tightening as you work along chain) than the shells that went inside. This made it difficult to sew up attractively without the holes showing.
@malturner45133 жыл бұрын
I am sorry to hear that Claire, it is a long time since I did it, but it seemed to work for me. My natural tension is fairly loose, so I usually use smaller hooks than suggested, and the larger size used for the chain was only very slightly blogger,, but can't remember which I used now. Will be interested to hear how you get on, and what works best for you

Hi Bella love your tutorials i recently started doing crochet (because of quarantine as i remember i had them) and i eventually came across your channel after going through a bunch that don't speak or they don't have clear instructions. I have so far done a blanket of granny squares i have made several flat circles as my mum loved them and i have made a love heart that i want to add a rose to so i am doing that now. Thank you so much Bella.

Love it that i hit the like button! I made it within an hour, while i was eatin and it came out perfect! But it was too hard the way you joined so i just did it by joining from center to outwards and it came out really pretty. No one even know it was sewed! So thank you so much! And also i showed it to my mom and my mom was so amazed to see my beautiful work and called my nickname like this. Aishaaaaa!! So thanks for teaching to me ! Your so... Excellent!

Don't know what I've done wrong but I chained 60 (+2) and then 8 double stiches in first then slip stich in the next and 8 ds in next and so on.... I ended up with 30 petals!!!! I guess I have problem identifying the "next" stich from the one I'm working with! I'm gonna start over and try to figure it out. Also my petals are smaller than yours and they tend to curl in on themselves.... I think I have too much tension on my thread. Thanks a lot for your videos, really easy to follow and to understand. I'm quite knew at this.

This is a lovely flower pattern, the crochet is simple to do with an oddment of yarn. I’d say you do need basic sewing skills to stitch it together, I just positioned the petals as I sewed, it seemed to work best spiralling the foundation chain at the back of the work and stitching into the lower part (but not the edge) of the petal beneath. Just thought I would say this as there have been a few negative comments which seems a shame as it comes up nicely. I’m thinking that if you wanted to make this into a face scrub it would work if you chained 102 to make a wider flower. That’s what I’m going to try next.
@bellacococrochet4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comments and good luck with your face scrub :)
