I absolutely love your videos. You don't waste anytime getting to the project at hand. You don't repeat the same thing over and over and over. Your work is absolutely beautiful and not difficult at all. You explain everything clearly and simple. I feel like I could and will make every creature you demonstrate on your channel. Keep up the hard work.

Thank you for the very cute and very easy-to-follow tutorial. I must say that I used non-plushie yarn and the part of the decreases on top of the wholes for the legs kicked my but and I had to redo it a few times because the stitches didn't add up. Still it's going to be a perfect gift for my nephew and I'm very grateful for you having made the time to share this with us.

@vanilliasso5938 When you're ready to make it, check if it's the size you want, if it's not, undo it and redo it by enlarging it. I use a fine yarn and, for example, in the first layers I would do single crochets + increase and in the next round I would add only single crochets and then come back to the tutorial or, I add more rounds of that type, if the last round I do is 8sc + inc, I do 10sc + inc

Can we do this without the chain and skips on the belly? Can we just single crochet in full rounds and attach them just sewing on the side?

Most likely. You’d have different looking appendages and would have less realty to secure the arms and legs. You would be more likely to put unnecessary stress on the attachment points on the arms and legs, therefore a less durable plushie

I had a similar issue. Repeatedly. And couldn’t figure it out. Everything I found said I had extra stitches somewhere but it never made sense I can’t tell you that I ever found out what it was but I just kept redoing and redoing until it was flat. Unfortunately I waisted a bunch of yarn doing so and this turtle has taken me two months just to get to part 2 (I do work and have 4 children too) so if anyone has the answers I’d love to know as well so if I decide to make this guy again I hopefully won’t have the same issue.
