i am not sure what size yarn and hook to use , i have found that almost all tutorials on utube and other sites fail to tell us of these very important things , i so want to make these beautiful clothes but have no idea what ply yarn and hook size to buy , i am very disheartened because of that reason .

Those things actually depend on your project. The stitches can be used with any yarn and its corresponding hook, there just may be some asthetic differences to different weights/sheens/tensions. You're better off getting some experience through experimentation and just knowing what to grab to get the effect you want.

Dear Oana, I have just finished the body of the knitted top down sweater, all I have left is the sleeves and I can't find your tutorial on that. Is there a written pattern for that . Help! And before I forget I just love your channel, I have so many plans and project in mind there just isn't enough time in the day to get to them all, but I'm going to try.

This is very similar to Yolanda Soto's shawl design motif with a slight variation on the flower and joining design using almost the same colors. I have made many.

I didn't saw the shawl that you mentioned, but this particular square it's a vintage pattern that I like to use for garment crochet projects, so I'm sure there are similar on the web, Oana
