A little pattern note: apparently I was a bit tiered after the last round. You should end up with 52 double crochets per side (!) and not 53 as I say in the tutorial. 😇 Wish you lots of fun! All the best, Tess

I have only been crocheting for two weeks. After lots of little practice squares with the different crochet patterns I decided to give your video a try. I have very LOW expectations of being able to follow along as a beginner… BUT omg I did it! I watched you on half speed, did lots of rewinding but completed my (one color white) square today after about 5 days on a trip to Maine. Thank you so much. Your teaching skills are incredible and I am now addicted to crocheting. thumbs up, subscribed and notifications on….. fan for life.

I generally don't comment on KZbin, and I normally hate positivity in videos, it turns me off because it comes across as forced and fake. But I liked your voice, and I'm not sure where you are from but your accent was beautiful. I felt like I was experiencing a Disney princess teach me how to crochet a beautiful pattern. Thanks for uploading this, and keep being yourself.

I think it says something about ourselves that we are annoyed by a cheerful person, at least that is what they say: That you have to find an irritation within yourself. But the amount of laughter, while nothing funny happens, also irritates me very much 🙉 Combination working without colleagues and uncertainty, I think. I see this in a lot of tutorials. Regardless, this was a great tutorial. But with the sound off 🤭 I'm sorry Sisters, some laughter is fine but it is a liiiitle too much 😘🍀

I made mine along with the video and for whatever reason, I thought it would turn out about half the size, but mine is huge. It could be a sofa pillow! I think she’s using a lower weight yarn and smaller hook, but even as big as mine is, I’m super happy with how it turned out. My sister wants it for Christmas and I decided I would just build on the square until it reaches the size of a small throw/lap blanket. I wish I could post a photo for you!

I’m going to make a bedspread 🛌 it will be beautiful! 😍 only thing I would say is to mark the first and last HDC of round 11 because you will need to know where they are on round 14 I believe? lol that was the only hard part for me because I used my own colors. So I recommend to Mark your stitches just so it’s easier. Thank you ladies for this beautiful project!!! It’s not difficult surprisingly!!! 👏 👍 👍 😊

I have seen so many beautiful flowers crochet patterns on Pinterest and I had my eyes on them for so many years, 😊 some time I see on KZbin channel and it is not English 😤, frustrated I got. I came across your channel one day, 🫣😇 the universe has spoken 😮, I was so exited, I mean I have been learned and know how to crochet since I was 5 yrs old, it the hobby that I most love. Naturally I love flowers . ( by the way this KZbin is in my husband’s name). 😂 he loves what I do, but he is not a crochet person. I would like to show my gratitude 🙏 tell you how grateful I am for your talent to teach the most beautiful, complicated look crochet pattern to be so easy to follow. You spoke well and clear, you giggle along the way, I love that 😂. Specially free patterns 🫣🙏😇 , I am not a pattern reader, but it is very thoughtful and kind of you to do that. All of us human need to be kind at some point of our life, and you did it. Thank so so much for this wonderful opportunity to create something I truly love. Anyway, I picked up my hook and decided to learn stitches doing squares. I have made granny square blankets and scarves and shawls and a blanket for my mom years ago doing double crochet stitches. It’s horrible but she loved it to my face. I checked out your channel and got so excited. Your content is amazing and beautiful. Anyway I’m making a journey blanket and I would love to use your tutes to make it. 😊😊😊. Thank you 🙏.

Oh my gosh, I just had to comment on this wonderful video. I had some free time this holiday weekend, and having been a knitter for 15+ years but always been a little hesitant to try crochet, I finally looked up some tutorial videos and made a few granny squares. I saw this video and thought, what the heck, why not give it a go? And your instruction is so clear and easy to follow that I've been able to make the square! I had to look up a few of the stitches but you're really helping me understand the different elements of crochet design and your video is so much easier to follow than trying to decipher written instructions. Thank you so much, I'll definitely be trying your other designs as well!

For one square 100g(for 3-4 mm hook) is very enough I think you can do multiple square maybe about 3

Thank’you so much for this vidéo! I learned a lot: new stitches and technics I didn’t know to make volumes. At the same time it’s so delightful like a cup of tea with cookies because you seem to be so funny and joyful … and I love the Colors which you use . Those mandala which have different rows permit to learn a lot different things on a single project ❤

Thanks for the beautiful pattern and so easy your instructions are. Am already on row 13!. I've plenty of some beautiful soft tweed yarn all autumn colours , and so a blanket it will be!!!. Wish I could show it here once done! Just an update 😊 Regarding the formation of the square at Row 16 I think? , yeah. I found I had to watch each stitch, I personally would have liked, ( because I find reading instructions a bit challenging) 10 single crochet 2 half double, 2 double, and so on. Well I managed it !!! Am sure many will agree. But hay! Am doing it! Thanks😂

I’m a beginner & I would never attempt this if it wasn’t for your detailed instructions . It’s so important to explain very slowly & repeatedly every single step till the very end. Thank you for that.Wish me luck! From sunny California!

I am about to start with the 27th row in a few minutes. I am so happy with the way it turned out though initially I wasn't happy with the colors that I had to work with. But now I love it so much that I thought of telling you before I complete it. Wish I could show you my work. Thanks a ton once again for this adorable and fun loving project. This was my first of this kind.

Okay, I'm taking this on. I've been recovering from a repetitive motion shoulder injury (due to marathon crochet efforts) and I need to get back. The pattern is lovely, and into round 2, it's obvious that your instructions are clear. I appreciate the time stamps as well, and even though guys crochet and knit, too, I think "SistersInStitch" is a delightful name.

Hi Betty, I’m so sorry to hear that you have been hurt and are happy you are feeling better. Hope the Blooming Lotus will bring you some crochet joy. 🥰 Regarding the name: I totally agree with you, all people enjoy crochet regardless of gender. SistersInStitch was first intended for me and my friend Kay whom I started this business with as we saw our friendship as the crochet versions of sister-in-laws, and the movie sisters in jeans from back in the early 2000. ♥️ Two years ago, she decided to leave the brand and I’m now flying solo but have included all crocheters as my fellow SistersInStitch:es. 😄 Happy crocheting!
