Sarah - Jayne aka Bella Coco. I haven't watched this video yet. I would just like to say a great big huge thank you from myself and many others. I love the FB group and all your inspiration! you have been a huge part in my new found love for hook and yarn ! I look forward to the tutorials and all you have for us to do! I know many people don't say thank you and let you know how appreciative they are so I'll say it for them. Thank you so much and keep on crocheting! best wishes ,Sarah Lynn

Hi, how may I work this in a round? I wish to make a basket and apply this stitch to the sides of the basket after a normal basket base with double crochet stitches
@bellacococrochet Жыл бұрын
I’ve not worked this stitch in the round before but you could try by joining your work with a slip stitch once you reach the end, and then chain three (which counts as your first stitch) and then continue working your treble crochets into each space and chaining two over the skipped stitches 😊

Hi, is it possible to use different ply yarn when working with different colours? Like an 8ply with a 5 ply yarn? I'm trying to use up some of my old yarn. Also how about using same ply yarn but of a different texture? I know it would be ideal to use the same kind of yarn but are there any tips or care to be taken if using the above? Thank you.
@bellacococrochet4 жыл бұрын
I think it would be preferable to use the same ply yarns of different textures - you would just need to bear in mind if any of the yarns have special care instructions (acrylic would be fine on a hot wash for example, but not wool). You could use yarns of different thicknesses if you could match them somehow; using two strands of thinner yarn held together for example to match the thicker yarn 😊

How would this work with 4 different colours of wool?
@bellacococrochet2 жыл бұрын
You can work the pattern in exactly the same way except you won't be able to carry the yarn up the sides; you will need to sew the ends in as you would normally. Just change colour every two rows 😊

Hook size?
@bellacococrochet6 ай бұрын
You should use what hook size is recommended on the label of the yarn that you are using :)
@raewyncormack24612 жыл бұрын
I mean you could at least tell us how many gms of dk you used with your 5mm hook to give us an idea of what to order like did you use 300gms maybe your loose and needed 3n a half skeins ,, perhaps it was only the two skeins shown in the video could be a yarn eater pattern and used 500gms ,, some idea is better than nothing because we need to order the same batch number,we each know if we are tight or loose crocheter needing more or less than what a pattern would call for, tbh i am quite pissed that you said you won't say how much yarn you used thereby giving us no clue whatsoever 😵
