Beautiful work @crazy cool crochet! I have been to your page and watched several of your videos. You wear a small and therefore it's understandable how you give all the instructions for your own size but am I correct if I wear any other size I need to purchase your patterns? I see you've been directing people to your page but there are no instructions there (such as additional rows or stitches needed for the larger sizes) Please direct me if I am wrong to create some of your cardigan coats. I love this and the red one. Thank you!
@CrazyCoolCrochet Жыл бұрын
As this is my only income I have had to try different strategies over the years. At the blog, the earlier designs did not include line by instructions for larger sizes. That would be in the Etsy patterns. Then I began to include the line by line for the larger sizes at the blog. And recently I stopped giving away the pattern instructions on the blog. The newest designs are only on KZbin and Etsy. I earn very little from the YT videos and even less from the blog ads. I must rely on the Etsy pattern sales. I takes SO MUCH WORK to design, write the pattern, calculate the changes for additional sizes, create and edit the video over several days, take and edit the photos, write and format the blog posts, write up the Etsy listings, work on social media posts, reply to questions daily on all the various formats...it makes no sense to just give away my work for free. My health has taken a turn for the worse and all of this is that much more difficult to execute. I apologize for the super long response, but I hope that this helps folks understand how I do what I do. Thank you for your support.

I dont see the weight of the yarn listed... is that not important? I want to make this for muy mom for xmas. Im pretty new to crochet but pick up on it pretty fast!
@CrazyCoolCrochetАй бұрын
Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I didn't realize I missed mentioning the weight of the yarn. Yes, that is super important! It's a #4 medium weight. I added a link to a comparable yarn in the description area below the video. It should be a thinner #4 with a slight sheen. The sheen isn't crucial, but adds a nice touch. I would never steer anyone away from trying any of my patterns, but this is definitely not a beginner pattern. I admire your confidence! Go for it.
