Love the gown,simply lovely ❤ personally for decreasing, I use a smaller hook. The British crochet patterns from years ago ,used hook sizing for increasing or decreasing, depending on the patterns.

Very beautiful, but I have a concern... Does this dress stretch out when sitting and then stay stretched at hip & rear afterwards? Or are the stitches stretchy and resilient. I wouldn't want to feel i have to (impossibly) stand all day.

Hi there! This was a really good video on how to make this dress ❤but I have few doubts! Can I use soft milk cotton yarn? If not what will you recommend other than the yarn u used here? Also is it must that we should use double crochet? Can I make it with single crochet? I am sorry if my questions sounds dumb😅 I am quite new, I have made few projects but never a dress ❤

Hey, milk cotton is perfect. I used double crochet because it is more stretchy. you could use HDC but I don't recommend SC.

Okay so I tried it, just to see if I could. I stopped above the knee and put puff stitches around the hem. Yes I want to make it for the wedding, only thing is, I would like to do linked double crotchet to avoid the see-through-ness 😅 (transparency?) But how does that affect the stretch factor, does anyone know?
