A local pet shelter always do a Christmas market and a lady that worked here always made cute pet themed decor, sadly she passed away last year so I decided to make some crochet pet themed stuff to give them so they can sell it. Ok to anyone reading this, when you start the tail, don’t put your hook in the middle, put it slightly off to the side so that when you sew the other side of the tail in it won’t be off to one side like mine ended up.

To make some kind of "Invisible decrease" you should try inserting the hook in the next loop (FLO) and then lower your hook and pick up the next FLO again, you should have your two front loops and you working loop, the n yarn over or under (however you want) and then yarn over or under. And that's it! Hope it helped you with anything.❤️

If you’re using larger yarn and the ears are too small, I made this pattern for the ears that sort of works: slip knot and chain 4, skip 1st chain and sc into third chain. Chain 1, then dc, tc (I think I did a triplet crochet?), dc into second chain, chain 1 and sc into first chain. It should give a larger triangle look! But awesome tutorial, thank you! I used 6mm hook and fluffy yarn so I had to size up the ears 😊

I recently picket up crochetting again and I was looking for something cute but easy to do!! This was perfect!! First of all, your explanations are very helpful and second, your hand movements are good to follow!! I'm a heavy visual learner so making the video slow-mo too and then looking intensely at the "decrease" part helped me a lot. :) I did choose a chunkier yarn and bigger needle and it became A BIG CHONKY loaf of a cat. Had to fill it with looooots of stuffing and I love it!

Спасибо большое за мастер-класс! Связала одну. Но толи из-за пряжи, толи из-за того, что я что-то сдала не так, но она у меня получилась не кругленькой а овальной. Когда я связала тельце, но не сделала ещё уши это была скорее не кошка, а картошка 🥔 ( ещё и цвет пряжи подобрала - пудрово-розовый). Потом она стала картошка с ушками и хвостиком. Теперь же это уже больше похоже на кошку за счёт мордочки. Она милая и смешная одновременно. Хотела подарить, но решила, что эту кошку- картошку оставлю себе. Уж очень к ней привязалась. Still new and this is the fist time doing any sort of plush, so I’m glad this was easy to follow. That said, I learned that if I’m using a multi-colored yarn, the decrease stitches will make the spiral look a bit choppy when using the first decrease crochet type. I still love the turn out, but for future, I’ll try the hidden stitch decrease next time I go with a multi-colored yarn.

​@@ElenaElena-dc4pp for this you should have the following wools,one scissor, if you want to note the instructions above you can in a page, you need one crochet hook based on the size of your amigurumi and ofcourse the wool, those eyes used for crochet projects, a big needle like the one in the video for sewing, some stuffings for filling up the amigurumi and one stich marker, happy making:)

I glue and stick the eyes. They are crochet doll eyes. Some of the beginners find my tutorials easy while some don't.

I loved this so much 😭❤️ however, the body turned a little bigger and the ears were tiny and round, so, mine turned into cute mouse instead 😭😭 but it was so fun to do, im gonna try making more of this in different ways

I fixed this problem with ear shape, by doing: single crochet then half double crochet, then double crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, and single crochet. They look SO MUCH better. sc, hdc, dc, dc, hdc, sc

Im a beginner and mine came out like a mouse 😂 but then i tied a string to the mouse part( # the head of the mouse #) and i became a little ball ir like a bunny tail . soo when i do the tail i will try to attach it to the little ball i dont mind if you copy me 😊

I decided to make a light pink cat, I am not a beginner but I made the ears a little too round and it ended up looking like a naked mole rat 😂. It was totally my fault so don't get any hate against ETM, because her pattern is 100% accurate it turned out SUPER CUTE though. I am gonna give this to my friend for her birthday. Thank you for this free pattern

for more sharper ears or for those of you whose ears isn’t earing: start with a magic loop sc, hdc, tr, hdc, sc, slst tr- triple crochet slst- slip stitch hope this helps

I made eyeballs by pulling black yarn through and then making a knot close to the surface and then pulling the yarn through again. Still waiting for some plastic eyes to arrive in the mail from Ali Express. I had a really hard time with the ears because they come out so round they don't look like cat ears.
