♡ Crochet No-Sew Goldfish Tutorial | Fish in a Bag Keychain ♡

Hi everyone,
In this video, I will show you guys how to crochet goldfish. After making the goldfish, put it inside a mini bag to look like “You bought a fish from shop and carrying it whereever you go” 🫣
These are not only easy but also fast to make!

If anyone needs it, Dorsal fin: Slip knot and attach it to the middle on top of the fish. (Chain 2, hdc in the same stitch) and in the next stitch (hdc, sl st) Ch 1, cut the yarn, and hide the yarn in the body. Pectoral fins: Slip knot and attach it to the side of the fish's body near the bottom. Ch 3, skip the first chain back and sc, into the last chain back hdc, and sl st into the next stitch on the fish. Ch 1, cut the yarn, and hide the yarn.

I finally understood and ill explain for the people that didn't understand on the comments! On R3 you are not supposed to do it 15 times, you only do it if you want your fish to be just color orange. You'll see throughtout the tutorial that she constantly changes colors so you need to pay attention carefully and not skip the video like I did lol.

Not clear between row 3 and rest of pattern. Probably should have finished the orange fish then do a color change in new examples

R 3: ch 2, (1,2)*5 times, SL ST For two color one, repeat the pattern with 1,2,1,2,… R 4-5: make white hdc on white and orange hdc on orange. The only confusing part is R 3 if you are a beginner😢

Im so confused 🥴 It took me 3 attempts just to start up, because the chain 2 would confuse the stitch count I couldn't work out how I was supposed to have 10 or 15. Finally worked it out. First time colour changing like this, then I get confused again and it took me a few watches to get the colour change going properly. But then I again get confused because I want to make the mainly white fish with bits of orange like you're holding, but I started with orange like you did so they got switched 😶 then im onto round 6 and for some reason mine is now flat and not like what you're holding 😂 im usually pretty good at following tutorials, but sometimes does take me a few attempts. I will keep trying. I have made other fish before but this one I thought was cute. Hopefully I'll get there 😂 I guess it is 3am I should be sleeping lol

SO I finally managed, I thought maybe I was just too tired, I believed I could do it, I then made a mistake like had to start again like 4 times again.. I kept using orange when I wanted it to be white, like literally starting with orange. Then I realised. So used white. Then somehow AGAIN it went flat I was so confused. Finally, I done it, I had to write it down to try see where I was going wrong. I had stopped using the chain 2, slp stch method because it was messing up the stitch count. When the changing colour bit came I again had to write it down and it did help. For some reason the tail (butt) end isn't closed even after the sc decreases which I had to make sure I was doing right. So I had to weave in a piece to try close it better because you could see the stuffing. Did this happen with anyone else or was it just me making a mistake? The fins went alright. But I couldn't do the eyes lol using a crochet hook. I don't know where my needle is. So mine has no eyes currently. I think I will try again, the tail connects to the tail so it kinda looks like a squid lol. I'd like to try this with chenille yarn as otherwise it is super small and a little awkward lol but I hope my next tries will be better
