I really enjoyed your crochet podcast! More please! I have a rag doll cat too. His name is Remy and he was a rescue - lucky us! The only criticism of your podcast area the LOUD ads that pop up. Other than that, I look forward to listening/watching again soon.

Well I absolutely loved that and yes, of course I made it to the end. Now I’m looking forward to catching up on your other videos and tutorials. I think you have it just right with the popular format of finished objects, works in progress, maybe yarn/accessories recommendations etc. I love a book or Netflix recommendation too and will check out Readly. Also if you can recommend any other good crochet channels that you enjoy. Happy crafting, Margaret

I made it to the end! Had to pause for a bit though when you mentioned the Readly App because it sounded so good! I had to immediately get my own, of course. (That was a fun 30 minutes picking out all the gardening, baking, and crafting magazines!) So thank you for that aside! 😊 Love your sense of humor, and your projects are so beautiful and/or useful. I'm a "returning" crocheter, so I'm looking forward to following along with some of your tutorials.

Thank you for your wonderful comment. These are the responses which inspire me to create these videos. I'm so glad you like Readily, I've been enjoying browsing the Christmas cooking ones along with wildlife mags at the minute.

@@CrochetandTea Yes, all the Christmas baking! So much fun! 😊 I enjoy the ideas and tips I glean from good magazines, and I'm a very visual person, so I appreciate the layout and colors of all the covers (much like Kindle). Thanks again for sharing! I'll have to mention the app on my gardening channel, and I'll be sure to say where I heard about it. After all, gardeners like to crochet, too! Now I need to pick out colors for some of those coasters... 😊

@@CrochetandTea Oh, that's sweet of you. Thank you! Just so you know, I'm being totally sincere - I do love your channel. 😊 I think a lot of people are 'returning' to things like crochet and crafting, gardening and baking, in context of all that's going on today. Simple living brings so much comfort and satisfaction. And fun - can't forget that!

Hello from South Africa!! New subscriber here. I was looking for a crochet podcast and there you were. You mention you love Rooibos!! Oooh my favourite. I often drink it when livestreaming. Would love that bobble stitch cushion tutorial. My friend linda loves that stitch and I think she called it the suzette stitch? I don't know. I stand to be corrected. Yes, I hate yarn barf, so easy start balls are wonderful. I pronounce it 2. Macramé. the way you do. I love good reads, but it must have a good ending because real life is honestly challenging enough. So that would count as a light read if you know it ends well. I made it till the end!! Love listening to you while i crochet on. We are your crochet family for sure..

I came across your KZbin page whilst looking for a guide to crochet small flowers (which I will try later). I can't crochet anything other than a chain, but your video looked very easy to follow so I am going to try the flowers and the round coasters. I watched this podcast all the way through. You have a very natural style, very entertaining as well. I also love Bird and Blend tea - my favourites are Mojitea and the ginger chai. I will let you know how I get on with the crochet.

I made it to the end and enjoyed every minute! I just learned to crochet over the summer - taught myself by watching KZbin videos (yours included - I just made one of your coasters today!) - and I have braved my first garment (cardigan). It's coming along and so far, it seems to fit! Love your sense of humor. I would love to see your tutorial for the basket weave stitch. I found your tutorials easy to follow and were not too fast at all. Perhaps the viewer doesn't realize that they can slow the playback of the video?

Thank you for your lovely comment. It has made my day! It can be so daunting putting yourself out there on camera. So comments like this on my first ever podcast are so amazing to read! I’m so jealous about your cardigan...alas one day I may retrieve mine from the cupboard of doom and try to complete it hehe! That’s a great tip too about slowing the video down. I’ll be sure to pop that in the comments. I’m just prepping for my 12 days of coasters which starts on Tuesday! So much to get ready but very exciting eeek! Thank you about the basket weave response. I think I’ll hunt the footage out and finally edit :) once again thank you for the lovely message :)

I really enjoyed this podcast and I love seeing all of the cool stuff that you made. I loved the bobble pillow (stripes and bobbles are not too much!). I would like if you could maybe talk a little louder. I have a hard time hearing and I have to crank the volume. But then the ads scream at me. Other than that, great job on the podcast! Looking forward to more!
@CrochetandTea4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. I was worried it was a little quiet. I think I need to find a better way to record the sound as I was quite far away from the mic. I know what you mean about turning the volume up and then the ads are so loud they come as a bit of a shock hehe! Glad you loved the bobble cushion: I’m thinking I may use the other yarn cakes I have to make another bobble cushion! Maybe a slightly smaller one though. 😊
