If u go to KZbin and put puff flowers, how to make, there will be someone demonstrating how to do make the puff stitch. It’s very easy, just keep making dc into the same stitch. Drop the wool, insert the hook into all the stitches,pull them together and make the puff stitch. I dont like this stitch at all, another name is the popcorn stitch! What I don’t like about this stitch, is that I can never make the same size each time I make this stitch!!!

Yes, you will need to know a little bit already, but what you need to know are simple things. SC= single crochet stitch. CH= chain stitch. Each "petal" is a puff stitch, she's making it 6 strands per puff. You'll need to know how to make a puff stitch, look that up, they're easy. At the end of each "petal", she's doing 2 CH, to get back "down" to the original ring, to begin the next petal in the next stitch in her original ring. Do all that until you have petals in all your original stitches.
