One big question for you.. do we sew on the ridges side facing outward or inward. I think I did it wrong... It's kinda hard to see especially when video keeps blurring up. Please say which side should be facing outward when mending together. Other wise this an amazing video. So easy to follow so far. When time to fill are the ridges on the outside??? 144 rows. The stem for the larger pumpkin is towards end of the tutorial. It's detailed because being for the larger size pumpkin, it has to be more realistic looking because of it's size.

Large was about 1.25 ft wide Medium was about 9 inches wide Small was about 5 inches wide. Tension can change the these sizes though.

Hi, I love your pattern and opted to make the medium pumpkin. I thought I had enough wool bur can't get hold of anymore and I don't want to undo it as its a softer wool. I've done 46 rows. Can I still put it together to make a pumpkin? ☺️

If it's got some what of a rectangular shape to it you might be able to make it work. If it's more square you could end up with a tall extra skinny pumpkin or a short really flat pumpkin.

Small pumpkin is a 21 chain and with a 20 total stitch count. The small pumpkin is 44 rows. The pattern repeat of row 2 and 3 is 2 rows. So repeating 2 and 3 after completed 42x gives you 44 total. Sorry for the confusion and delayed response.

I had a hard time with the Medium size pumpkin at getting it to close at the bottom so I had to add some stitches to get it to completely close. I think I stitch it way to close to the top which is why I had the issue, but I got it to work just like you did when you closed the top of yours. =)

It will work but the look will be different with the different textures and the sizes will be much bigger. I wouldn't try the large with chunky yarn.

It turns out to be about the size of a beach ball maybe a tad smaller if you have tight tension. The large I believe took a little over 1 skein.

The big one is a little smaller or equal to an average beach ball depending on your tension. Medium is close to the size of an average cantaloupe. The small is 2x the size of an apple

I struggle to understand why some people said chain 9 for small pumpkin but it’s not even fitting to fill the polyester stuffing. Can anyone explain ? The chain 9 and chain 21 difference? Both are way too small. Unless I’m using wrong yarn or crochet hook 5.00mm. Thank you.

You may be using a really small crochet hook or your tension could be really tight. The chain 21 small size should work out to be a little bigger than a grape fruit. The chain 9 would probably be a little smaller than a apple.

Many people work into the chain on the front into the heart shape V of the chain. If you flip it over V facing down you have bumps instead of V's. If you are still confused I can make a video on it.
