I absolutely love this hat and the simplicity in making it. I did run into an issue with it being too big for some people. I resolved this issue by threading yarn through the single crochet row, right before you add the ruffles. I put a stopper at the end of the yarn and created a small drawstring. This may help some in the same situation as me.

​@@jeannettesanker2845 Reduce your rows. This tend to help when making any hat. If it needs to be bigger, then you add more rows with gradual increases in each row, for smaller hats just stop at when the hat can fit comfortably over the head and hair.
