Thank you for this! I'm a beginner with crochet and I needed to make a scarf for a cosplay to wear to Comic Con so this was great! Very easy to follow and very clear. I normally have trouble with following totorials, but this was amazing. Thank you so much! :D

Thank you for your wonderful video! I am crocheting a scarf now and changing colors every few inches. With each color change, I am changing the pattern. This pattern will be my third pattern! Thank you again! I haven’t done this before, so time will tell. I certainly cannot crochet a scarf in 1-2 hours…but slowly getting there!

That sounds like such fun! I hope you're enjoying it. And don't worry so much about the time it takes to complete it, only whether you enjoyed the process and the final product. I'm sure it's going to be amazing! Thanks for watching and commenting; btw, you're most welcome :)

Another super good tutorial! I love your patterns, but you must crochet faster than me because I can’t get a scarf made in an hour, 😂😂 but your voice is so relaxing I don’t mind going slower. thanks for doing these!

Thank you! And don’t worry too much about the time. As long as it’s not taking you days to complete, then you’re reaping the benefits of these simpler patterns. I’m glad you’re still enjoying these tutorials though. Thanks for letting me know 🙂🙏🏾

I am super excited to crochet my first scarf with this pattern! I know you mentioned you can use 20 chains + 5 chains for the foundation. If I did that, how would that impact my next row? Would I do 5 single crochets, 15 double crochets, 5 single crochets?
@AtreyuCrochet Жыл бұрын
No, you would alternate between 5 sc and 5 dc every five stitches. So, it's exactly the same as what you see in the video except that you'd be doing it for longer since your scarf is wider. I hope that makes sense.
@luisethomas-herr8922 ай бұрын
How many do you do when you do 25 are you doing more double crochet so that you just have five on the end that are single crochet
@AtreyuCrochet2 ай бұрын
Follow the pre-established pattern. You’re alternating between 5 single crochet and 5 double crochet stitches. Continue with that pattern until the end of the row.

Can you make this for a 0 to 6 month baby?
@AtreyuCrochet2 жыл бұрын
Yes, but I'd use a softer yarn for a baby. They have yarn specifically for baby blankets. Use something like that :)

Now this is the one that I have been trying to get right now. Well actually I have taken it apart a few times and put it down for now. I keep coming up with extra stitches. What am I doing wrong?
@AtreyuCrochet2 жыл бұрын
At what point are you coming up with extra stitches? It’s impossible for me to know without seeing it. But try to pay super close attention to what I’m doing in the video. I give a lot of detail in my videos to avoid these types of problems for learners.
